Re: High Volume Players - What value do you want for your play?

Something to consider for the Stars rakeback idea is to have a higher bracket that gives rakeback in the form of tournament $. For people who play a lot of tourneys that would be as good as cash,...

Re: 400 NL - Whats the river play and why?

[ QUOTE ]
Hero calls.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree it's highly unlikely that villain thinks hero has a 6, and therefore I think his hand range for raising the river is pretty large (it's also...

Re: NL 400--AA raised on flop, whats the standard line?

[ QUOTE ]
If he called a 4 BB raise out of position heads up with 88 or 33 (unlikely in the first place)

[/ QUOTE ]

Why is this unlikely? $11 to call with $400+ stacks? If I am villain I...

Re: Backing TPTK with my stack

What were his PT numbers? Without a specific read that he seriously overplays top pair or is straight bluffing you, I think you have to fold the flop. Although I have seen some fiercely stupid play...

Also a follow up question: if I have a 15.4" WXGA screen can I play 4 tables without overlap? Or do you need a WSXGA+ screen for that....

Re: 3 way JJ line

[ QUOTE ]
I just don't see AQ, KQ, AA, KK, or QQ letting this flop go by unraised.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is what swayed me to a call on the turn. I also figured that there was a good chance that...

3 way JJ line

BB is pretty laggy, UTG+1 seems to be a reasonable player although I've only played a couple of rounds with him. How's my line?

I tried e-mailing twice in the last week but got no response. I was surprised because the site came recommended by a 2+2er, so I figured maybe someone here could give me some insight......

Screwed by Balanced Returns?

I had a rakeback account there for PokerNow for 2 months and haven't seen a dime. I know there was difficulty with affiliates getting paid, but I thought that had been resolved (wrong?) My e-mails...

Re: Three betting KK preflop in SSNL

I only 3 bet when I have a read that indicates a player does not have to have a big pair to re-raise. However, I think that 3 betting against an unknown player is a mistake with 100x stacks. If the...

Re: 2/4 NL How to extract the Max?

I put EP and LP on draws, SB could have a lot of hands, maybe as little as a pair of 9s. In the hand I bet $50 (pot was like $125) I was really hoping EP would call, that way if the other two had...
