Re: Aggression Factor

My post flop agression is 1.46 (up from 1.24 since I posted my pt stats and u guys told me to be more agressive). I think anything over 2 is pretty agressive.

There is no perfect number. If...

Re: Raising with KK, too much???

This is good strategy, people are itching to go all-in on the first hand. No one had a hand, oh well.

Re: How badly did I play this AA?

I think this is a good fold. Me and hero agree on something for once.

Re: Couldn\'t Lay Down AK - Was I Justified?

The crappy thing about that King is that it really does not change much. It looks like you have improved your hand a ton but the only hand that it hurts is J-10. Any other hand that was ahead of...

Why give him a free flop? Your method and mine both cost about the same, I'm just taking my stab before he can see if the flop helps him. I'm assuming your making a PSB on the flop every...

Re: Bankroll Requirements

I agree with grunch, if you are gonna buy in short what is the reason for going with 50 bets? You dont accomplish becoming the short stack, and you dont have the stack to maximize your value on...

Re: Party 50nl 6 players - call pot sized bet w/tp 8 kicker on river?

It is bad because now hero is playing river guessing games and put himself in a tough spot.

Re: Party 50nl 6 players - call pot sized bet w/tp 8 kicker on river?

If you represented your ace on the flop then people are much less likley to play back at you without 2 pair. You did not bet the ace so now it is pretty much a guess. Check on the flop is wrong.

Re: First NL live casino game: how\'d I play?

Dont show your cards. What do you hope to accomplish by this, letting everyone know to fold when you have AA?

Ok about the continuation bet here.... I dont think that is a great board to do it on. There are 2 high cards on the board. I like to continue bet on flops like 2-6-Q There is only 1 high card on...

Re: Blowing a $600 profit in under 5 minutes- how bad did i play? $200NL

I like check call way better in #1 shortstack or no. If you check villian might make a move with anything. If you bet 50 bucks villian probably only calls with something like overcards with a...

Everyone here likes hand #1? Open pushing a pair of 10's into a 3 flush board? I dont like it.

Re: KK facing aggression pf

I think it is fine. The pot is already decent enough size to take down. I dont like waiting to see if an ace flops because if it dont flop that might be the end of the action.

Re: Is the basic strategy outlined in Super System still effective?

That is for unrestricted buy in games of hefty money. Does not work too well for small stakes holdem. As far as your question, yes it works well in the type of games it is meant to work in.
