Re: Buy In
I usually play at Del Sol because the facility is a bit nicer, but the players there kind of get on my nerves. Everyone there plays really unpredictable and it gets kind of annoying after a while.

Buy In
I play at a local casino 3-6 and usually just buy in for 60 dollars. I would like to play higher and I definitely think that I have the ability to as well, however, I am a college student and need...

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!
Stop worrying about your Pre-flop hands, you should be more concerned how you do post-flop. Everyone runs bad from time to time, put your big girl panties on and improve your post-flop play.

I know there is not enough information, I am just looking for some general guidelines for what to do when you are first to act w/AK and you completely miss the flop, if I wanted an answer to a...

What to do w/AK in a capped pot when you miss
This is a general theory question, if you are in the BB for example, have AK, capped or at least raised pre-flop, 3-5 opponents, and dont even pick up a draw, how do you approach this hand. Is it...

Re: Whiffed River Check-Raise.
Villains post-flop play is aggressive, with alot of bets if checked to, but does not raise unless he has a straight or better.

This is more of a general theory question and any answers would be appreciated. I was just wondering what people's game-plan is for raising mid-pairs in the small, big and UTG positions. I define mid...

Re: Just give up with Kings here?
You might have tried one bet on the flop just to see where you are at. Correction, JJ doesnt have you beat, but 10 10 does, another probable hand, and with JJ if you hit your K you are dead to the...

Re: Just give up with Kings here?
I think that the pre-flop raise = AQs, AK, QQ or even JJ, all of which have you beat at this point. Plus, you have no redraw with the hearts, I guess just swallow your pride and fold, something that...

If you decide to continue after the flop you must play your hand aggressively all the way through, because you are obviously looking to make your flush. You have to commit yourself so that if you...

Re: I keep screwing up md/tpnk out of the blinds
your second pair 7, is not strong enough to check-raise. To check-raise a flop like that you need something like 10 10 or JJ. The only possible thing that someone could bet is a Q, and if they are...

Re: BD flush makes, doesn\'t feel good
1) Dont call on the flop
2) Re-raise the river, you have the nuts you can only hope to get more money out of the raiser. He probably has a K high flush so get that puppy capped

Fold this hand, you arent suited, and there arent enough people in the pot to make this hand profitable if you hit it. Even if you hit a king, there is a good chance that the other players limped w/...

Dont even call this hand pre-flop unless it is suited. I believe this is the worst play that people make, in most games people will stay around with almost any ace, and a marginal ace like this one...

Re: 99 vs raiser, semi-ragged flop
Re-raise pre-flop, you want to get all the [censored] out of the hand, it also makes your hand more valuable when the flop is low/ragged and you have an overpair, if you let shitty-low suited...
