How would you have played this?
This is the type of hand I seem to be playing during the past week. It's also about the 3rd example I could give from just this single session in the first 15 minutes:
Villian is a calling...

Re: back to basics 4 give me pros and cons.
Based on the input you gave, I'm assuming that one of them will bet this flop. Hopefully UTG+1 and maybe a raise behind so you can trap most of the field with an extra bet when you pull off the...

Re: QQ: Still lost in these situations
I tend to Bet. Many times you've got the Ax crowd hanging around hoping to hit. The bet will usually drops one of them out. It's a risk to the Passive K, but you were going to call down a single...

Re: Small pot, Mid Pair - How do you handle this?
I typically don't play or bet these types of flops with multiple callers in the pot. You have second pair, no hope for a flush or straight. I'd be content to just check down and fold to the first...

Re: 4 to the nut flush
My thinking on the flop is similar to yours, now with the situation of calling 2 or raising to 3:
Drawing hand
9 outs to the Nut Flush
1 out for the backdoor straight
1 (discounted) out for the 3...

Re: Is this just bad luck?
In my opinion (responding before looking at other replies) I typically would not play these hands, except the big blind hand.
You get two pair, but hands two and three are well coordinated for big...

Re: fishy fishy
I'd call. I somehow doubt the flush (but he paid for Runner/Runner), but would rather suspect a 2-pair, maybe a set but not likely. You have Top pair with an excellent kicker.

Re: Two preflop decisions
Edited to fold: Sorry, I thought you were the BB for some reason. I'd just fold.
The second hand is close, although I'm leaning to a fold. But again that's based on playing tighter tables.

Re: TJs - turn decision
I wouldn't count on your two-pair, or trips to win this hand. With a better and raiser I'm inclined to think that you need the flush. I'd lean to just calling the raise instead of 3 betting. You...

Re: TILT? WHAT\'S TILT?
You folded the river for a single bet. You have to make this crying call........you will win at least once every 16 hands.

Re: A flop quickie with KK
I wouldn't put MP1 on a pocket pair, but A-paint is a strong possibility. In this situation I figure I'm behind enough to make it not worth calling down. My actions would match your action.

Re: Was this a bad calldown?
Just from the action on the hand I'd think he has two pair (KJ) or a set.
By the time you get to the river your getting almost 12:1 to make a crying call.
Based on my read I'd of folded on the...

The other...

Re: 2nd pair, should i call down?
I think you've played this hand well.
You have the odds to call with your 5 outs on the flop.
Once the turn comes you really don't have business in the hand. The fold isn't a bad fold.
I...
