Re: 5/5 NL...Doing Business????

If you want to lock in the best deal for yourself, in that situation your opponent has 2 outs, so offer to run it 3 times.

Draw and lowball games also have a significant positional advantage.

Re: Unethical?

There was a guy in the NL game at the Palms the other day who pulled the "I haven't looked at my cards yet" bit what seemed like almost every hand. I could not believe people *continuted* to fall for...

Re: Still Shaking about this hand guys, help needed.

OK first thing is you did not raise enough preflop for the penny stakes game ($.10 is better IMO), and you REALLY didn't raise enough on the flop given the potential straight draw on...

Also Ivey has stated that he believes that he needs to play higher stakes to take his game to the next level.

That makes absolutely no sense. Take it to what level?...

WPT Championship II: What\'s with those stupid bubbles on the table?

Is it just me, or is that table incredibly cluttered thanks to the stupid bubble cameras mounted in the middle of the table?

They have show a couple of shots from those cameras and they are...

Re: Play this flop for me...

If you call the flop MP2 is much more likely to call, and then SB definitely won't fold.

Re: General Philosophy

Your confidence is a percentage, and should be ".95" not "95". You used 9500%.

Re: Play this flop for me...

Yes. You should be able to fold at least the MP player and possibly SB as well. I am not going to fold TP with a J kicker in this huge pot because SB could easily have been betting a draw and BB...

Re: What percentage of hands do you expect to win??

In the long run you will win 10% of your hands in a 10-handed game, assuming everyone plays to the showdown every hand.

The problem is that some people will win more and less depending upon their...

Re: Play this flop for me...

Raise the flop. With 6 players in you cannot really put BB on a stronger hand. In fact they are likly betting a draw or weak queen so this is a great chance to cut down on the number of...

If you were playing NL, the information is worth more and your philosophy applies better. In micro limit you need the best cards to win a majority of the time, and you get most of the information you...

Re: How Many Outs?

I fold this without much thought. You've got 4 outs max, and plenty of redraws against you even if you catch one on the turn and you aren't already beat.

Re: Limping/Spewing with 55

I'm torn on this; you are much more likely up against AK, AQ, KQ, etc. than you are a made pair, so I don't think it's so bad to take the lead in this hand. I would continue to lead the...

Re: Tired of Getting Pushed Around

How is the first hand a steal situation?

I would have 3-bet the flop on the first hand. On the second I think I would fold. Any pair, ace, or KT+ beats you.

Re: Unsure of my line with QQ

Think of it in terms of pot equity. There are 4 players and only 2 possible hands that are ahead of QQ preflop. QQ has a HUGE overlay over your opponents' possible range of hands. You *need* to cap...

Re: Gutschot chase correct according to pot odds?

I would definitely call the 1/2 bet preflop with that many players in the pot.

Call on flop looks fine. Call on turn looks OK to me, too.

Re: Unsure of my line with QQ

Why didn't you cap preflop? There only 2 hands that beat you and you are up against 3 other players. Even if you are behind (a big if...there's a decent range of hands that BB will...
