Best setup for mult-tabling?

I am going to start multi-tabling on on-line poker. I am wondering what people think is the best monitor set up. I am thinking of buying either a 20" or 24" wide-screen monitor, as in:

Re: 25/50NL Three Handed Hand on UB

Right, but I am out of position and if I check and he bets $2k, he might have AT or (given his play Q8 or God knows what else. So how would you play it?

Re: 25/50NL Three Handed Hand on UB

I check-raised on the flop. I checked, he bet 650, I bet 1300. He called.

Re: 25/50NL Three Handed Hand on UB

Diablo: My basic question is this. Had you been in this situation, when he called your check-raise on the flop, do you put him on a hand that beats you or do you think he is drawing? If you think he...

Re: Haven\'t had 50/100 sweat in a while

With four hearts on the board, what does he call with that isn't ahead?

Re: Haven\'t had 50/100 sweat in a while

Comment on second hand. I think you are almost certainly ahead on the river and he folds to your bet. Reads like he flopped a baby flush and the king put you ahead. His mini-bet on the flop looks...

Re: 25/50 bluff v bbuddy

You are betting $1400 to win $900 and almost certainly getting called if he has a queen. But, I think it takes a lot of guts to call you with a middling hand on the river.

Given he called your...

Re: 25/50NL Three Handed Hand on UB

Difficult situation, and maybe the smooth call should have set off alarm bells.

My thought process at the time was, if I check he is going to bet for sure and it's not going to be a small bet, so...

Re: 25/50NL Three Handed Hand on UB

If I broke some rule I am unaware of, apologies.

I am sorry if this came off as a bad beat post, I really was not thinking of it that way. I was asking if anyone would have tried to check it down...

Re: 25/50NL Three Handed Hand on UB

Thanks. So far, not a lot of commentary on the hand. Anything?

Re: 25/50NL Three Handed Hand on UB

Did you really think I meant "Diablo, do you know whether or not I know your screen name?" Nah. I was asking "Who are you?"

Re: 25/50NL Three Handed Hand on UB

Mr. Diablo,

Seems to me you play on the 25/50NL game, do we know your screen name?

Re: 25/50NL Three Handed Hand on UB

Yup. He crushed me. I actually lost 10K to him with AA. Once he had Q8 and once had had J8!

25/50NL Three Handed Hand on UB

I have 5k in front of me. I have pocket aces in the small blind, the button, is a tricky, tough player, and has me covered. He raises to 175. I re-raise the pot (to 525 or so). He calls. The flop...

Re: How do you play this river?

Given the way this went and the fact that you didn't raise the flop, you have no idea what he has. He made a small bet on the flop and I think your free card on the flop may have given him a set or...

Re: 25/50NL Misery, Running Sooooooo Bad: Six Losers All In

Fair points: How did I only lose 10K? Well, as I think about it it was more like 13K because I had started after building up in the 5-10NL Short Handed Game.

So, my total loss for the night was...

25/50NL Misery, Running Sooooooo Bad: Six Losers All In

First of all I don't believe in bad luck, but I do believe in running bad. I do believe the cards break even over the long haul, but I just wanted to know what you 2+2ers have experienced in terms of...

Re: Revisiting Lisandro v Ivey (Re: ESPN making up hole cards)

I think people are forgetting *why* ESPN ended up pretending to know the hand when they did not really know it. Every broadcast is aired "as if" it were a live sports broadcast as opposed to a highly...

Awesome post, my friend. Great analysis. I completely agree with it. I would add that Scotty also had more to gain from being right than to lose from being wrong. He was running good, fully of...

Re: Me vs Scotty Nguyen

My thoughts on the play. First, I think either he has an uncanny ability to read these situations and fold (he did make some huge laydowns earlier), I misread the boards and he had two-pair in which...
