Re: $11: AK Facing overbet on the bubble...

No real reads on Villain. He hasn't made a play like this yet.

Re: $11: Questionable Bubble Play?

Ok. A few more thoughts on the hand:

Villain is both button and the dominant big stack. His range should be huge. If I was him in this hand, I'd be raising a ton of hands in that spot. I...

$11: Questionable Bubble Play?

Villain seems to be decent. Hasn't done anything blatantly stupid. I've yet to invest in PowerTools so this might be fairly straight forward.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is...

$11: Do you always go broke here?

This might be one of my leaks. I tend to not fold big hands early in the $11s because so many people do not know what they're doing. Maybe I'm the one that doesn't know what they're doing..?

Re: 6 Max SNG\'s

I don't like them. Six handed play forces you to widen your range and play poker against players who potentially don't know how to play poker. And, there is less dead money.

Re: $22 - 99 on a paired board

It's too early to play poker. Fold.

Re: 22$ first hand QJs in BB

Why do you check the flop? Are you hoping that it gets checked all the way through?

Pot is small. Throw out a pot sized bet on the flop. If raised, consider folding.

Re: $11: Ist round, big blind, top pair & straight draw

Instafold. Your straight outs are dirty because of the flush draw. You have no implied odds if you make your straight. And, like you said, you could be drawing to a split pot at best.

Re: Trips vs. Boat.... any getting away?

No, it doesn't make a difference what your turn bet is. If you bet $5, are you folding to his push? No.

Re: 2 200 NL hands

I don't like the preflop call in the second hand. I generally will only play SC's if I'm the original bettor, can see a flop cheap, or have some implied odds. With no reads, you don't know what...

Re: AA top set question

In response to caz:

You must push/three bet (depending on stacks and size of raise) if reraised. If you call and then a diamond falls on the turn, are you folding? Why would you be afraid to get...

Re: 25 NL PP, Value bet the river?

I also think you have to bet it. Who calls the SB's push?

6 max Auto-Rate Player Rules

I could not find anything with the search function. Sorry if this is posted often.

Also, does anyone who has them find them...

Optimal VPIP and PFR% for 6-max NL ring?

What is the optimal VPIP and PFR% to have in 6-max NL ring games?

My stats after 50k hands is 27,9%. I think my VPIP should be much, much lower. Any thoughts?

Re: Getting away from middle set?

His check on the flop would automatically make me really suspicious. More suspicious is his cold call on the turn, unless he's incorrectly drawing to a flush. Even a KK / QQ would lead out on the...

Re: Do you/Can you/Would you fold KK here?

First off, I don't see where Cooker is getting the "call the flop all-in" business. Did I miss something?

Anyway, I don't like your raise preflop. If you're going to raise, might as well make it...

So Player B checked on the end?

But seriously, what do you beat on this board Best case scenario your opponents will have something like 1010 and JJ. Player A bets $40 into a $136 pot. This...

Re: Hate all over me for this one.

I don't like that call at the end. Granted you're getting about 3 to 1 on your money, but your draw may not be to the best hand. You said he raises with a wide range of hands,...
