Re: PP 30/60 JJ multiway - tough turn decision

I've worked steadily up to 30/60 from .50/1 thanks to this forum, and I have trouble giving players at this limit the credit they deserve because I'm so used to poor players spewing chips. I've been...

Dell 9300 problem opening tables at 96 DPI

I just got the 9600 w/ the high res widescreen monitor to 4 table at Empire. I am able to open tables at 120 DPI but there are black borders around it so I switched to 96 dpi and it looks fine when I...

Re: Defending the BB.

What's wrong with defending with KTo? I know it's read dependent but unless I know opponent rarely steals I think you have to defend with KTo or even worse. I'd play post flop the same.

Re: La---dee----da---da---da...but what does Mr. Mooko have?

I've recently switched from raising to limping AJo UTG after reading a post while back discussing the merits of limping to let in Ace worse kicker. I wonder if it's close in EV either way.

Re: 88 UTG. Is this as boring as the rest?

I raise 88 UTG as my standard play. Is it a close call either way that it doesn't matter much?

Re: Blind \"Steal\"

I really enjoy these blind stealing hands because it's a situation that comes up often and I need to improve in this area.

If I think he's FOS, I call his CR and call down from there if I have...

Re: QJo, did I get trapped?

I'd also bet that river and call the CR. Whacky betting like this turns out to be a bluff often enough to make it profitable to call - at least so it seems to me. If he's not bluffing, how can he...

Re: Why are you stuck at party 2/4 3/6?

I've been stuck at 2/4 and 3/6 for about 3 months. I keep adding more tables (5 now) but can't muster up the courage to move to 5/10. Do you think it's important to beat 2/4 and 3/6 for 5bb/100 or...

Re: I think I\'m behind here, do you?

I normally complete with any 2 suited if it's 5-handed or more. Is that ok?

Re: A messy win with KK.

3 betting preflop would also bloat the pot to a size that would encourage the typical party player to chase gut shots, backdoors, and bottom pairs. That's good, right?

Re: AA - Stop and Go by Me -

I would want to know if he has the straight on the turn and 3 bet. If he caps then call down on the river unless I fill up.

Re: medium flush in bb against preflop button raiser, 4th comes...

I think the PF call is a borderline one that is neither significantly +EV nor -EV because of this hand being short handed. Most suited connectors are an easy call at the BB behind a PFR in multiway...

Re: Am I getting soft or what?

I agree. Sb would have waited until the turn to check raise if he had a Q. I put him on a pocket pair.
