Re: Party $33 rebuy, near bubble hand

Honestly, when I am a big stack and this is the bubble, I won't have a range to move in here. I will move in with any 2 if I think there is a very small range he calls with. I am trying to think from...

Re: Final Table Paradise 200 on 12/18/05

I think you give way too much credit to "image". I do think position is much better than cards in every case. I think AJ would be a relative easy call to this push.

Re: 10 Euro Trip Aces, Kicker problem

Nah, you played this hand fine. They could be calling with any ace out of the blinds. AJ is the only hand that isn't being slowplayed (AQ and AK might repop PF or play post flop stronger), and there...

Re: Party $33 rebuy, near bubble hand

Folding would be the obvious choice. If the BB is a good/tricky player, he could really be pushing with any two here. This is a call I love to make, since he could be giving you a very easy double up.

Re: Time for a heroic call?

I fold. However, Raising like that with intenetions of folding to a push is bad. Either call the flop, or call the push. It is true that you still have plernty of chips, and don't need to call his...

Re: crippling pot odds, steal gone wrong.

No reason to get impatient here. just let it go. When that much of your stack is on the line, pot odds can become irrelevant.

Re: A pf fold by Strassa in the 700k

*Assuming* he take the villian's stack on any flop, if he flops trips or better. It is costing him 11500 to win 74330, which actually does give him very slight -EV.
