Re: $2/$5 NL Live hand

Seems like he has a set here almost always. I say he has a set rather than 68 because you pegged him as a solid player, which I take to mean wouldn't limp in LP with 68( ...maybe raise but not limp)....

Re: Very odd QQ spot

IMO I think calling is the worst option...putting in nearly 25% of my stack preflop is pretty bad business, I think, because the size of the pot won't really allow for any play postflop except push...

Very odd QQ spot

Full ring 200NL on pokerroom. It's my first orbit but I know MP in this hand is tight passive.

I'm on the button with QQ.

UTG limps, MP limps, MP2 limps, CO limps and I raise it to $16. The...

I was a huge Futurama fan when it was on and still catch it on Adult Swim from time to time. I was always upset that it didn't catch on more, and thought it was because it had such a terrible time...

Re: Jews Play Cards on Christmas

I think I'm going X-mas day. The Borg is running a $300+40 tournament, starting at noon, that I'm considering playing.

it is a great card as it makes a straight for an A and for a 6.

true. i agree with the percent that this will be a flush or not. but from my observations.. a miniraise is a strength move.. not a crying hope for a fold.

yeah but this turn is a very dangerous card.

i will probably overbet the pot in this case many times.

Why raise the flop? None too many cards hurt me and I'd love someone to catch a 6-high straight on the turn.

would you raise with a set?

Re: 400 NL-- QQ on the river, bet or check?

Out of the BB, there's a decent chance you counterfitted him on the river. I bet $75-100, and probably fold to a c/r all in because he'll never do that with a worse hand, I think.

Flop nut straight...played right?

200NL on Pokerroom. Generally passive game with its fair share of idiots. I start the hand with $255, LP has $245 and BB has $200 even.

Two limps, I limp in MP/LP with 6...

3rd hand at the table, trying something new. Anything particularly bad about this line? I thought this type of line might make the most when I'm ahead and lose me the least when I'm behind.
