Re: Question about MTT ROI versus 1 table ROI (Mark Blade)

I had two final tables on Xmas night and since then I haven't been able to win to save my rear end. It's been horrible.

I don't really have a large sample size. Just bought poker tracker for this...

Re: Follow up bets

I agree that the higher the buy in the more difference it makes.

Are higher limit players more likely to fold to a follow up bet? Or are you more likely to get called?

Follow up bets

Let's say we're in a large MTT (1250 people). The blinds are 15/30 and average stack size is slightly under 2k. Your stack size is 1800 or so.

You raise preflop in MP with A...

Re: Question about MTT ROI versus 1 table ROI (Mark Blade)

From what I've heard it's 200 MTT's per level that you play. Which is quite a lot of tournaments if you play a wide variety of MTT's.

I'm curious as to what makes you feel like this is not a cut & dried situation? I agree that this is a pretty standard push. Sure we want CO coming along. Depending on the type of player...

Re: play these two black sevens

It's not really the original raiser you need to be worrying about. The check/caller is what should be enough to push you out of the hand. Easy fold despite the outcome.

Re: early pp 50 sb hand

Yes and no. If you get called and hit they def. wont expect a straight and you're likely to get paid off.

Re: 45K Guaranteed hand.

I'm folding here. The board is too scarey and he probably has you beat. Find a better spot.

Re: early pp 50 sb hand

Bet out 90 and get a feel from there it's likely you'll take it down on the flop.

Satellite line check: Value raise turn?

Thoughts on this line? Does the turn smell like a flush wanting in cheap? Do I raise? BB stats are 30.3/1.9/1.60/53 hands. Villians stats are unknown (only like two hands with him).

PokerStars...

Re: Stars $22 180 SnG, 43 left, SB hand vs Big Stack

Easy fold, you don't need to get involved with this many chips. This flop is scarey and you're still in good shape. Fold and be happy.

Re: Should my chips be in here?

Yeah the check def. wasn't with the intention of folding the river. I think it allows me to keep the pot small and maybe make him bluff at the river with a weak hand. Guessing from what everyone else...

Re: AJs - good or bad steal - 6 handed

Looks okay to me, they're limping signals weakness and you need to push to gain some chips. You have ten bets. Easy push IMO.
