As a suggestion: To become a better hold'em player, learn to play another form of poker equally well. For example, you could learn stud or stud hi-lo. It's like cross-training---your hold'em game...

It's no joke. For this particular game Carl was in---yes, you'd still much rather have position, but it wasn't as big a factor as it would be in a more aggressive game.
