Re: Wine
You need to find a wine with a good story. Share the story and sound excited about the wine, like you're letting them in on somthing. I'd get an Amarone - it's a wine from Italy's veneto region and...

Re: At what stake level do players think more
Concerning spotting the thinking players -
Build your pokertracker database and use a heads up display (HUD) to display the stats of your opponents. The VPIP% and PFR% should be the first numbers to...

Re: Middle Pocket Pairs in a 3/6 game.
One of the benefits of having a high PFR% is that it becomes so much more difficult to put you on a hand. It's more fun to play aggressive and i'm sure i don't appreciate the full significance of the...

Re: Aces up pair on board getting raised
There's always the possibility that the second 4 killed your hand but i'd still be happy to see it. I couldn't lay it down and i'd be thinking of ways to convince myself he has A2 and got turned, or...

Re: Maximizing value heads up
I like being consistently agressive - the flop bet can be less scary than checking. Being you checked the flop i'd bet the turn. Being that you checked the turn and he bet, i'd check the river too...

Re: More thoughts
Granted the J does help a good number of the hands that Jason would make it to the turn with. Even hoping for half of this tiny pot, against a thinking player is this such an easy fold every time?

Re: Crappy turn card vs. aggro: 20/40 Live
It'd be great to know what else he's checkraised a pfraiser with. 4 handed would he reraise with QJ, call with Q2? He's definitely coming along with A2s. Is he the type to c/r the flop to disguise...

It's natural for you to miss playing all those hands as you go through the process of tightening up. Intelectually you realize you're giving money away and this process is something that must happen...

Re: \"bet fold river\"
Read the Dude's (Drew Pruitt) article on this from the July magazine, think the title is pretty self explanatory.
You don't want to fold on an unthreatening board, in fact the opposite. You want...
