Re: card mechanics

I have spent a long time working on knowing how to slight, so I can always recognize...

Re: Which size cards do you prefer.
I agree. I don't think many people realized that the smaller indexes are still in the corners. I think they were too busy looking at the way the paints are laid out sidways.
I wish they would...

Re: My Tiki Chip Design (link fixed)

Re: first 10-20 game
Just play well. When you're at the table, don't think of yourself as a 5-10 player who is looking to step up. Sit with your $1000 (...or whatever you buy in with) and focus on your game.

Re: Hosting Black Jack
I agree...no backing, no cut. F'em.
When I hosted blackjack, $1 minimum $30 max. Every now and then I would let someone make a $50 or $100 bet. Mostly everyone stayed around 1 or 5. I ran it...

Re: Securing common chips for home cash game.
I would say hot stamping might be your best bet. If you can't do it...there should be someone decent in the area that should be able to hot stamp. Any bar/gameroom store should be able to do it.

Re: How would you react?
I would react by playing in a real game. If someone owes you money...make them pay, by one way or another. (I will let you read into that, however you like...) Tell those guys to shove it.

Damaged KEMs...damn.
Just opened a new deck of KEMs today, and the As is damaged. It looks like it was miscut, and it has a sliver cut into the one corner. Makes it very noticeable and got hung up on the first shuffle....

Re: Need opinion on these mockups.
I think they look great. Very clear, easy to read, and classic look.
<personal preference>
I would use pink (or another color) for the $2 chip.
