Re: Anyone get a real gross feeling while they\'re in a casino?

I have that same feeling in a public library, airport, or Chinese restaurant. Handling the chips is really gross. I keep hand sanitizer with me at the table and use it frequently. I make very...

Re: Party\'s Scratchoff Promo

First day - Nothing
Second day - Nothing
Third day - $5

Oh hell yes. I had a crappy session on the third day and only made $3. This more than doubled my take for the session!!! Long live PP.

Example would be staying checkin Sat checkout Wed

Re: If you could have any tool for free, what would it be?

How about a card tracker for stud?

Or a HUD that reads the Hand History real time, and displays opponents cards at showdown without having to look at the HH.

Re: reverse slowroll

Saw a guy at the Wynn last night actually reach over and grab the opponent's calling river bet before turning up his cards. Punchline is that he lost the hand trips to sucker straight and had to...

My first trip to the Wynn poker room (long)

I didn't explore the property... just the poker room.

The room is very close to the self park garage, close enough to restrooms, and way away from slot noise. The room is very nice and there's...

Re: 3 guys playing together in our home game....

How many people will it take to tell you that you are clueless before you stop and realize that you are?

You are clueless. If that helped you get any closer to understanding, then you're welcome....

Re: My report on Harvey\'s Lake Tahoe (long)

The best dealers I noted were Tom and Adam. I think I was playing during an undesirable shift, so I was seeing most of the newer dealers. I did forget to mention that the players were very friendly...

Re: Bellagio

It is too crowded and it is hard to get attention from the brush sometimes. Some of the dealers are very rude. I apparently forgot to tip after dragging a large pot, and when I offered a tip after...

My report on Harvey\'s Lake Tahoe (long)

I thought I'd share my recent experience at Harvey's Lake Tahoe for anyone else who plans to visit there.

First, it takes a long time to drive around the lake. If you want to play poker in Lake...

Stud8 6th street heads-up

7 Card Stud Hi/Lo 8 or better

You have pocket AA, but your board shows no draws and only a rough low possibility (KQ87 rainbow, for example). The only opponent is representing a made low and his...

Re: identifying my td leaks

There are other considerations, but here is a list of all of the pat 9s and which to break based on how good your redraw is. Negreanu says you are a favorite to improve with 3 draws to go if you are...

Re: A note regarding TD hand histories

Actually, I am secretly waiting for the day my handle (which differs from my handle on 2+2) finally appears in one of the hand histories posted.

Re: At tax time, lots of money under table (Article)

You get to a point (well some of us anyway) where you see this argument and you have one group who is obviously...

Re: Paradise Draw Poker Question

I can back up what bigpooch is saying, and even go so far to say that if you single-table, you can average 8 to 10 bb/hr at Paradise 1/2 Draw over months of play.

Re: Computer freezes momentarily after closing party/empire windows.

I have this problem, too! I am running a firewall on my PC. Are you as well? I think this might be involved.

Re: Paradise Draw...

I'm only estimating the number of hours played. Wish there was something like PokerTracker for draw. Keep in mind, though, with draw, you can play over 120 hands an hour.

I think 10bb/hour at...

Re: Paradise Draw...

No, I single-tabled the whole thing. I guess you might be asking facetiously because I don't think it was really that great of an accomplishment. I played about 50 hours. Then I got bored and went...

Re: Paradise Draw...

I made $1k at 1/2 in one month, and I didn't even bother trying to avoid the regulars. I'm no whiz at draw, either.

Re: Drawing 2 up front in limit draw

This play would make more sense to me if your trips were lower, and even then I don't really like it too much. You know you are ahead of the BB or he'd have bet, so I'd rather go for an overcall...

Awesome response! I wish there were more draw discussion like this on 2+2 (or anywhere for that matter).

Re: Advice for draw poker online?

In that situation (given that you sense the other player is steaming), what are you doing those 90% of the times you draw and miss? Calling down anyway?

Re: NEED LAPTOP ADVICE - thinking of buying this one today!

Pentium 4 indeed does get too hot for a laptop. Keep in mind that the clocks speeds for the Pentium M do not correlate directly to the P4. A Pentium M 2.0GHz is competitive with a 3.2 to 3.4 GHz P4...
