Re: Sweet chess run

Thats a very nice run - sometimes coming back to chess after a good while off sharpens your game up nicely. I played a tournament here in Costa Rica for the first time since moving here 2.5 years...

Re: Chess: want to get better fast

It depends on whether you want to "get better" fast or "have better results" fast.

If you want to get better fast, you're probably out of luck. Its not a simple game to learn, and hard to learn...

Not sure how to dig up the chess bet thread...

But the match ended in a tie, so if you had bet Leko on my original recommendation, you win /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I played 1.e4 almost exclusively, and took great pleasure in facing the sicilian. Its such a showdown opening that if you enter it, you know you'll probably have an exciting game. With black I...

Re: Where\'s your first Red figure on Pokertracker?

At just over 30,000 hands, I am full winner with everything down to A7s which shows an overall win, but a 0.05 BB/hand loss. All pocket pairs other than 77,33, and 22 are winners.

To be fair,...
