Re: christmas laydown

While I'm a fan of how you played this hand up til the river, I think you may have misrepresented your hand to your opponents by playing so fast. SB could have made this move with a very wide range...

Re: Another Wynn Floor Decision... Correct?

The ruling is for you to forfeit your BB. Significant action has already occurred and it is the players' responsibility to stop the action if you are not being dealt cards. It's happened to me...

Re: common situation

does anyone c/c flop then lead the turn on any non ace or king? i love this line and think you get looked up a great percentage of the time. if raised then call down.

Re: I can\'t be ahead

you would muck the turn if bet into after capping the flop? aren't you pricing yourself in to at least call down U/I?
as for the hand i turn into a calling station just like everyone...

Re: AJo turn

so i take it you muck the turn? i'm a sucker for the semi-bluff with a gutshot on the turn play, so that's how i come up with the story /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Re: AJo turn

Let's imagine that you weren't racking up before the hand was dealt. Without saying a word you decide to raise. Same action to BB. He now reraises, without saying a word. This is a strong hand. ...

Re: QQ flop in very large pot

Ok, so do you want to tie yourself in to the pot, or do you want the easy exit? Betting will do the former, checking the latter. I'm a lagtard, so I vote for betting. The chances of it getting...

Re: 15/30 QJoffsuit - Not sure if I should have done this

I don't think anyone has mentioned the benefits of you now showing down QJo after you making it 3 bets preflop.

I'm salary + commission, doing outside sales. I get paid weekly, on Friday mornings, direct deposit. I get my monthly commissions on the 2nd Friday of the month, and I get a quarterly bonus every 3...

Re: 60/120 Live 5 bet on the turn with 2nd nuts....

have to bet the river. only hand sb plays that beats you is A10s, and i don't know if he 3-bets that preflop. call a c/r too if it comes.

Re: Bet, Check, Bet

his bet on the end does not signify trip 5's. at least not to me cause most people would try and c/r that on the end. plus if you thought your 9 was good then why not check and induce a bluff? or...

Re: Preventing the float attempt...10/20 A4o in the CO

if you don't think he'll check behind a decent draw then isn't it an easy c/r on the turn?

Re: KK limp-call and some more weirdplay

so there's no way he's raising QQ here on the turn? if not, then great laydown. but the problem i see here is cause you've done such a great job of illdefining your hand on all streets that he'll...

Re: Played this hand ok? 20/40 PP

yeah, you've got to price yourself in on the flop, not to mention you may still be ahead.

Re: BB/100 at Party 30/60?

wow, you only make 5/100? man, that's weak.
no seriously, keep practicing, get about 1,000,000 hands at each level, make sure you start with .25/.50, then move up once you get to 10/100.
best of...

Re: Anyone checks through the turn here?

so your raise on the flop was for a free card then? or for value? i think you need to have a plan for the turn before you raise the flop.
i think it's a value bet for a couple reasons. first...

Re: 15/30 Set of nines in multiway pot

yeah, what everyone else said. i'm assuming your thinking is that you don't want to get 3-bet by JJ on the turn, that's why no raise? sure this is a game of incomplete information and when they all...

Re: Interesting River Call Reraise

i like a lead or better yet a c/r 3-bet on the flop to clear up any pair outs and of course you've still got the nut flush draw.
river is standard.

Re: A common pair vs draw situation

you're saying that after you've already checked behind on the turn then you'd expect a lot of people would bet a river blank? no way.

Re: What is your longest session playing live?

if this was that card game, i would then turn over all four of my aces and stick you with the pot.
by 6th grade i had stayed up for 3 days straight so it's no big deal to me, i've never slept much...
