Re: Hand for review... ($10 SNG)
[ QUOTE ]
When you bet the turn and get minraised again, why do you think pushing is a good idea?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah - I kinda thought this was a mistake afterwards.
To be brutally honest......

Was I right to call?
I think I'm happy with how I played this hand - I just walked into someone that was also slowplaying! But I'm wondering if other people think I was right to call the all-in. Would anyone have folded...

Re: was this way too tight? 3 handed in a 10 +1
On the bubble this is a definite fold for me.
You haven't given any read for UTG, but why take the risk?
Simply callig and hoping to catch the flop will leave you with less than the button....

But I find it severely detrimental to post general 'advice' saying this is a hand to fold PF.

IMO, I think the advice here is terrible. I don't think the advice you should have folded PF, but since you didn't you should call/push is sound advice. IMHO, it's atrocious.

How about a related question.
A third spade falls on the river, you bet big. Everyone else folds (It's an example, so assume whatever other facts you want to.)
Another player asks...

Just what does this achieve though?...

Re: Discounting Outs
Early in the game I just wouldn't have called this preflop.
But seeing as you did, the flop couldn't really have helped you out much more... so if you played the hand preflop, why not play it...

I've played at Stars, UB, Party and Paradise.
I now play solely at Stars and Paradise. Stars is very good to build up greater skill at sng's as the competition is much tighter there. But without...
