Re: AA...do I get greedy?

Wow, why the hell would you push? Let him put 1/3 of his stack in wth 23% at best (67 suited)?

PLZ just call and push and flop. Pushing preflop is really really bad.

Re: Chatting it Up

[ QUOTE ]
The more I think about this, the more I am hating myself for this fold. Does anyone know how to do the EV calculations that would find out how much villian has to have the straight here?

Re: Set of 3s at NL400

You are calling $105 to win $451 (assuming he will call with Straight when u fill the river)

Your share of the river don't count (it's YOUR money already).

Re: Set of 3s at NL400

It's not a matter of mistakes. It's a matter of odds and racionality.

The river changes pratically nothing on the hand. It makes a flush possible but it's unlikely that he has this flush.

If u...

Re: 400 NL 9 handed (Boring small hand, just weird)

What a way of playing AA...

I like the flop raise over his weak bet.

I don't know what to do on this river either. I think it's close between check behind and value bet.

Re: Set of 3s at NL400

I think if u called that turn you HAVE to call this river.

Maybe it was correct to fold the turn after his big raise.

Re: NL400 5 handed, confusing situation for me.

If you're going to take this line of check/call flop, lead turn... Lead for a smaller bet on turn. I think you are commiting too much money OOP with your hand betting 100. And probably just hands...

Re: Forum Split

For me it's better:

Small: NL100 and below
Mid: NL200, NL400, NL600, NL800(wtf)
High: NL1000 and above

This is all for online poker.
I can't coment on live coz i don't play it.

Re: hmmm, i just got top two pair, and i want to keep them in the hand

Hand looks fine until the river. I don't like pushing. I think a smaller value bet would be good. Something about a hundred.

Re: theory question from a weak tight player

I like this line on a safe flop. But expect to see a lot of checking behind on the flop from passive players.

Re: Starting Hands - 6max vs Folded Full Ring

My thinking was of the high cards indeed.

Starting Hands - 6max vs Folded Full Ring

i've heard sometimes here on 2+2 that if the EP and some MP fold pre-flop in a full ring game, it's the same to ignore them and assume the game is with less players.

I'm not sure about this. I...
