I would raise this preflop. 88 is a good hand and raising here will force CO and BUTTON out.

The table's been playing loose enough that a preflop raise isn't going to be...

Raise the flop. Your hand is extremely vulnerable and needs to be protected.

I wait until the turn, but now I\'m confused

SB is very loose preflop and is something of a gambooler. His raising standards seem reasonable so far (probably about top 7-8% of hands). He rarely folds postflop and has sucked out on a few...

JJ wanders overcard city against a preflop raiser and a capper

BB's normal (non-shortstacked) raising standards are reasonable (he'll raise hands like AQo and call a 3-bet back to him), but he does like to get overly tricky postflop. I've seen him check-raise a...

T9s turns the nut straight, all you can eat action

Thoughts? I really don't see KT or a rivered flush on the river given the previous action. I'm figuring 33 or 88 might be possible, but does it really give this much action?

Aside from "get up and find another table", suggestions here for a turn play? (Hadn't been at table long enough to get an impression of villain, but thus far he'd seemed unremarkable.)

In his defense, the hand you posted is multi-way, which increases the chances that 99 is out there.
