Re: flopped flush faces flop agression
Insta-call. It's most the baby flushes/sets that push, because they want discourage draws and take the pot right there. The A or K flushes want to extract more carefully.

Re: Silly Preflop Question
I agree. I think cash games is definately about waiting for the right spot. However, what I agree with and would have done if I were in the situation is different. I don't give villian enough respect...

AK Hitting A or K by the river 50%?
Does that go for every hand? Does 67 hit a 6 or a 7 if it goes to the river, theoretically? If not, what makes it more likely or less likely than AK?

Implied odds of a flush draw?
Is it incorrect to draw on nut flush from the flop if you are not sure of the implied odds for a pot-sized bet? I assume that if you can get the 4:1 implied odds from any given villian, it's...

Horribly misplayed HU
I just had a feeling that I was a much better player than him, because I saw him folding to an all-in, last to act for 1:16... Well, I refused to give him credit because he picked up a couple before...

Slowplay this? QKs
Button is extremely fishy. I knew he was going to minbet, and so I checked to try to sandwich BB. In retrospect, I feel like the amount was too small for him to be properly "sandwiched" so I may have...

Line for AKo
Villian is loose. No other real reads. How should I have played this? Slow down after the flop? Bet more on the flop?

Badly played set followed by badly played draw?
First orbit, no reads on Villian. I feel like I should have called, checked and made a river bet if he checked behind me otherwise check/call, check/raise on the river. I felt like, my raise would...

Re: Too weak/tight w/ JJ?

1- Your stack
I think you should have a combat load of chips at the table. Why get in here with only half the buy-in? It limits your ability to get information without getting pot...

Some questions about AK, full ring and 6max
This post mainly pertains to 6-max. I've left full-ring as it just doesn't feel profitable for what I want to do, which is to play against the loosest players possible. This has sometimes posed a...

Who was it that once said... KK is one of those monster hands that you must never, ever fold in a cash game? I don't believe I would have folded in this situation during the game, because a lot of my...

Fold Equity?

Waay looser standards in 6-max than in full ring?
I've seen people do some stuff like, call down cold raised boards with bottom pair on AK5 flops. I see people call gutshot straight draws for pot and half-pot bets. What's up with this? There are...

Optimal play? JJ in the BB 25NL
Stats on Villian: 51/11/0.93 after 53. He is a VERY loose caller. He'll call raises with any two suited, I believe. I have a TAG image.

Re: Another AK OOP Hand...
Is it really likely for villain to smooth-call the pre-flop raise w/ AA or KK? I think it's much more likely that villian has 44 or 99 for the set.
