If all he did was expert analysis and talked endlessly about each hand he would be half as entertaining as he is. I just adore this guy!

Re: Am I too good?

I don't think I'm THAT good. For the stakes and players I am playing right now, I AM too good, I can shuffle chips, stare down opponents, show weakness when holding a monster, read what the opponents...

Re: How much money do you need?

If you make 50K a year and work for 40 yrs the easy math is 2 mil. I know you have to figure for that 50K raising somewhat over the years, but I would say that you could live comfortably on that 7.5...

Re: collusion and cheating in my own home... HELP!!!

This is pretty simple. If you are getting 13 players, they simply aren't invited. If they ask why, then explain it to them. If they don't agree, then tough. /images/graemlins/spade.gif

NL tourney giving way to Limit??

We are starting to see a divide in our regular game. Some of us (me included) would like to at least have one of our two rounds (we usually play two tourneys) be a low limit game (.50/1 or 1/2). I...

Re: Home Game Directions

Did you leave a trail of bread crumbs behind you to find your way out? Playing four handed with Hanzel, Grettel and the witch must have been a rush.
But seriously, directions were pretty funny. Did...

Re: What does the villian have? (Somewhat LC)

Without looking at the other replies, I would say another JQ or some suit.

Re: Multiple Tables

If you use two tables, which you should if you get up to 12 or more, do the following (which is what we do)

1. Use two suits of cards and count out the correct number for each table. Mix the two...

Re: LV vs. LA vs. SF. Best city in the US for a poker pro?

SF? Must not know enough about poker to know why they are in this list. I would think that Atlantic City would be good or just plain NYC with all the underground action happening. Maybe I've just...

Re: Proper bankroll for NL game

2K - 4K br on a 2/4 NL game. That's funny. I can't see that. I thought it's 30 times the big bet, so 30 x 4 = 120. Albeit, 120 is really not sufficient. I would have to laugh at someone bringing 2K...
