Re: AJo 15/30 hand

I think a call seems fine. At worst you are getting 13.6+4+4=21.6, 4:21.6 = 1:5.4 on the flop. With 5 outs you are 1:3.9 on making your hand. I'd throw some chips in...maybe a bad idea?

Re: 10/20 AA

whats the point of the turn CR? looks like there is no reason to get fancy here...lead the turn, id hate to see a spade get a free-bee that beats me when they will gladly call a bet.

Re: Folding AA for one bet??

I would probably cap the flop with my overpair and BD flush draw.

Not raising the turn leaves you in no mans land, between a bettor and raiser, and makes the hand very hard to play.

I think its...

Re: Big street decision

raise now...he could be making a move with a flush draw or some straight draw, or a hand that you are just flat out beating, which means its time to collect some bets while you still can.

Re: 10/20 AK preflop

You dont own 25% of this pot pre flop? The only player you are worrying about is the 16/6 that 3-bet, I feel like the other 2 players could be all over the place. 2 out of the 3 opponents seem to...

Re: AK hand with 4 flush

I think I bet this river and fold to a raise. He calls the river bet with a weaker ace over 50% of the time, and checks through because he does not want to be CR'ed on the river, so its nice to pick...

Re: 15/30, JT posting - quick checkup

i thought fold auto at first, but once i realized we were posting i thought a raise seemed fine.

Re: interesting 20-40 hand

id prolly make it 3bets pre flop, due to the nature of the raiser.

i dont think i raise the turn...kills your action if you hit, you have very little folding equity, and you dont have a big enough...

That doesnt make any sense to me. Do you mean three-betting instead of cold calling a raise? or raising instead...

Re: Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop is too dark outside the house

the only thing i think of is obviously adjusting the brightness...holding the "Fn" key in the bottom left corner and using the up and down arrows to adjust the brightness.

Re: QQ in EP facing a reraiser

[ QUOTE ]

And if I knew he had AA/KK, why did I bet the river? In hindsight, as I said, it seems awfully stupid, as I don't beat anything but AK/AQ, and he's not calling with those.

Re: 10/20: blind defense round 5, part 1 - 33

raise the turn and take a free showdown, fold if 3 bet. he will probably call a turn bet with overcard(s), and likely not bet the river. we are happy if he calls or folds on the turn. if he 3-bets...

Re: 10/20: blind defense round 5, part 3 - QTo

i think you give up too much by folding this flop. peel a card, and fold if it misses you.

Re: A fold I should make more?

if my math is right, we break it down like this:

4 bets preflop
8 bets flop
12 SBs

6 BB's on the turn, its going to cost us 2 more to get to a showdown, and hes going to throw 2 more in...so...

Re: Q3s in the SB?

i dont see the point in betting into 3 players on turn. maybe CR the flop to gain some equity, but i think i play it about the same. i think there is value in the river bet.

Re: 3/6 Ultimate fight: Two Pair versus 4-straight

bet, call a raise, call a river bet. if he calls the turn, bet the river, maybe check a heart, but its close.

Re: 5/10 99 awesome or stupid?

i dont think there is much value from a river raise, he only calls with 66-99 that you beat, and maybe AK or some other high A, plus you open yourself up to being 3-bet. call and get to a showdown.
