Re: Inducing a bluff twice (3/6 FTP)

Definitely FPS. Villian has shown no aggression here. Bet/cap turn and river as much as he'll let you. Likely he's calling all the way down regardless.

Re: Flop check (live play)

[ QUOTE ]
so you guys are then folding if anyone bets?

[/ QUOTE ]
Most likely, yes. Let it go and find another spot. I've bled too often in these situations.

Re: Raise pocket 9\'s in EP?

[ QUOTE ]
They say you either want to play against 2 or 3 players or 5 or more players.

[/ QUOTE ]
So does this also mean that 99 shouldn't be played against 4 opponents? Seems silly. Why not...

Re: Calling preflop raises

[ QUOTE ]
As for the other question, so is it safe to say that if I limp in and get raised, I should pretty much always call (at least) unless it comes 3 bets to me?

Re: Raising then autobetting missed flops. (Warning: 10 hands)

*grunch*
1) check. Too many players involved.
2) fold.
3) raise, and re-evaluate
4) Call and see what the flop brings, or fold . I think this situation is a hole in my game as well.
5) I...

Re: Common errors and leaks in u\'r game that u\'ve discovered recently?

I took a look at the net for all my starting hands, and BY FAR the worst losing hand I had was KQo. My vow was to fix that hand, and I think I've done that.

I've also been working on not only...

Re: Leak #1 Overcards.

pre-flop: good play

flop: This requires a table read. Some passive players just want to see a flop, then will fold if it misses. So whether you take your free card here or try to get one on the...

Re: QQ fold on turn?

Cap the pre-flop.

Lead out on the flop, or check/raise if you want to string UTG along with you.

Turn/River, call down at this point.

Re: AKo- big pot.

Normally I would lead out on the flop here, even with 5 to act behind me. If you check, I'd think about check/raising here, since it traps 1 between you and the bettor, and makes the...

Re: Should I quit? 35k hands at 1/2 and still breaking even..Stats inside

I was in a similar situation as you, during the summer. Back in June, I moved up from .5/$1 to $1/$2. From then until October, I went nowhere. First half of every month, I'd make a profit, last...
