Enough fold equity? I think not...

Just wanting to check with others over a hand I'm pretty positive I mis-played. Excuse the messyness of the details.

$25 rebuy, out of rebuy period. 15 of 20 left. Only really worth going for...

Re: Big stack, big draw, do I have to lay this down?

I reckon it's fair to say at least one of them will be on a flush draw also, and so thats at least two less hearts in the deck, for you to draw out with. At least one will likely have trips, and so...

Re: Early on, top two on a monotone board, call this push?

I think a set is quite likely, and against two callers on the flop I don't like my hand a great deal with no clubs. Though I'd expect a re-raise with a set on a dangerous flop like that, so perhaps...

Re: Push Check

MAN ALIVE!!! I'm glad I don't play Party cos these SNGs look increasingly like *&%$@! crap shoots!!!

Nobody prefer a starting stack of 1,500-2,000 out there?

Re: Pre-Bubble play...

Too early for mine...

A5 is marginal at best, your only just under 10BB, there's 2 very small stacks, and UTG only has bout 200 more than you. A big stack is behind you (more likely to call), the...

Re: $11: 8-handed, folded to Hero in SB (50/100)

If I was BB I wouldn't call without at least 1010 (Possibly JJ), or AQ

Re: How do you play this JJ hand?

I raise preflop to 100, and follow up on the flop with 175. Reluctantly folding to a raise.

Re: My BASIC guide to beating each level ($30/50/100/200\'s)

It's still possible to make a profit playing <30+3's, so I don't see why they're a waste of time if your not willing to risk 30+3 per game, and trying to walk before you can run.

Re: Screw it

Sometimes thats the problem. If you don't play regularly, your just too eager to play pots and win pots... At least that is my experience.

Re: was this bad play? opinions wanted

I had a fairly similar situation recently when three handed. I had 77 in the SB (UTG had folded), and raised up to half my stack, guy pushed over the top... I had to call. He shows AQ and turns a Q...

Re: I haven\'t \"seen monsters\" in a while.... until here (QQ 6max hand)

I second 'Allinlife', he could just as easily be playing 1010 JJ etc... I call... Sometimes he has a set sure, but he could just as easily make this play with a lower pocket pair or the flush draw,...

Re: Bankroll

I take it leaving yourself short is anything less than 100BB's in cash games?

Cheers once again. I have been playing mostly SNG's till now, $10+1's and $15 ones, I have been winning at those...

Bankroll

I'm sure this has been answered here a ton of times before, but when I searched the threads I could only find limit answers.

How do you go about calculating your bankroll for NL cash games?

Say...

Re: JJ in middle stages of tourney

I wouldn't call... It's to large a part of your stack to have to fold to almost any Q K or A on the flop IMO

I'd fold simply because I think based on the blinds and chip stacks, it's too early to...

Re: JJ in middle stages of tourney

[ QUOTE ]
With the blinds at 50/100 you have an ubelievable amount of play in your chips with over 2k, and to potential throw this away on a coin flip I think is a poor decision, so early in the...

Re: JJ in middle stages of tourney

Erm... I'm clearly the only one on this thread who thinks this is a marginal FOLD... My reason being I have way to often seen fish call with AQ/KQ in these positions to make it profitable to raise...

Re: Another JJ hand (level 1)

Call, see a flop. If it comes with with undercards bet the pot, fold to a reraise if you put him on an overpair based on prev play.

Re: Top 3 basic SNG mistakes

Would have to say, being over aggressive in pot's that I'm in. Just because I'm in a pot doesn't mean I have to win it.
