Re: Tilt.. Need help...

Re: Sanity Check

You have to raise, in order to reinforce any hesitancy and timidity in his play. Don't go crazy after the flop if you suspect he's setting you up for a nasty trap - but you have to have grounds to...

He might be playing up at you, with the baby stack, but there's no way you can call that - you're not gonna hit running cards for the straight, and you need to maintain...

Re: KQs on Bubble, do you call?

At this stage, 4-handed and everyone is chronically short-stacked, surely you're all on the steal, and maybe it's a pocket pair, but if he's doing it with any halfway playable hand you're probably...

Re: low profit!

I was CANING (http://beedubblyer.blogspot.com) the PokerRoom Sit & Gos, until a bad beat in a live home game put me on tilt for a full week.

Re: Optimal Play in home game (long)

You could mix up the cash games with tournaments - or speed tourneys before the cash game. You'd keep the fish interested by creating a more level playing field, so the better players don't ALWAYS...

Re: KJo , out of position. Fishy can\'t fold his trips

Re: river play - whatchagonnado? By this point it's obvious you've both got Ks, the question is who's got the better kicker (player with better starting requirements) and whether anyone pairs the...

Re: how do you play against loose inexpirenced players? I NEED HELP PLEASE

1) Play a solid, unimaginative game - premium starting hands. Your standards will be higher than theirs, so over time, you'll profit more.

2) Unimaginative means don't bluff - they won't get what...

Re: UGH

Your check to the Ace obviously could have invited a bluff, if this guy didn't have a hand. But does he ever bluff all-in?
Unfortunately, there was no bet from you that could have taken him off...

Re: Poker Etiquette: Where is it?

Yeah, it's a pain, but either you use it to learn about them - the act will almost inevitably contain clues - or get an iPod... ;-)
