"Rise of Nations" is a good turn based/real-time strategy game. Very unique. You should be able to pick it up cheaply. /images/graemlins/spade.gif

I wouldn't say they are the best FPS games out there. They are the best war style FPS...

He's not looking for first person shooters, or I would agree with you. I was never a fan of those games, but for people that like that genre, I've heard they are the best.
