Re: Free card play in MTTs? Comments?

Where's the free card?

Preflop I'd be wary and fold this myself if the second limper is smart. Why wouldn't he raise to get the donk to himself?

I'm folding on the flop. Bet, raise to me, the...

Re: New here, looking for comments on a hand ...

Holy ... 42 BB aren't enough?

Seriously, you're going to make money on this no matter what the heck you do, especially at such a donktastic table. So don't worry about it.

That being said, the...

Re: Increase PF Raise?

What's your steal percentage?

My overall PFR is about 10, and the later the position, the higher the number. I'm at 14.96 on the button, while I'm around 5 just past the blinds. A lot of that...

Re: yo 2+2: my first post and a hand i thought was easy (long)

Preflop if I'm going to play this, I'm raising, but I'm more likely going to just fold it.

On the flop you've got second pair, mediocre (putting it nicely) kicker with a back-door FD. If it was...

Re: Meat of the WSOP ME starting tonight

Most of 'em won't need two weeks.

You take a week off, and if you make it to week two, you can probably tell your boss to go hang if you want.

Or be smart and not have a "real" job.

Re: The dude who cried when his K high flush lost

[ QUOTE ]
Haha, some guy on the feature table just pointed Adam out to Matusow as "The guy with the biggest" meltdown (not sure exact word he used) of the tournament.

The guy said it was a 700k...

Time

I don't have much of an issue with the time TW took to make the decisions (or non-decisions). With the TV editing it's hard to tell what exactly went on, but I think I would have gotten a little...

All you players who say you could have gotten away from the full house against Farha ... OK, I believe you. But I also believe your tournament life will be a short one if you run away every time...

that's too weak. you've got top pair and a decent draw. there are a lot of semi-bluff hands that get bet here, including a lot of 9x hands that hero has smoked. not to mention...

Re: Williamson\'s last few years PL Omaha record

WTF? Everybody else can rebuy, too, for crying out loud. And no one else has come close to this guy's record in PLO. I mean, geez, give the guy some credit.

Re: Stars $20 180 person SNG - 1st post

Any read at all on the cutoff?

Top pair, lousy kicker, weak draw, out of position. Yummy.

I might bet 300-400 at this flop and run against any opposition, or more than likely check/fold.

Re: 20 Dollar Shoot out on party

Set over set in Hold'em is pretty rare, and there was no real way to see this one coming. Better to lose it all here than on the bubble.

Re: WSOP Circuit lay down of KK\'s. Not sure it was correct.

I certainly wouldn't be so sure the guy had AA. I'm curious about your raise, as it seems to me you'd have to make it at least 200 to go with 50/100 blinds, no? So you min-raised and he...

Re: PokerBlue

Don't try running the software with a dual-monitor setup. Something about the way XP and the client interact makes PokerBlue into a huge sinkhole for your RAM. Turn off dual monitors and it's OK....

Re: 2/4 Rake

The full ring games at Full Tilt were pretty tight. The SF% was 29.77, which is always going to be higher than the VPIP.
