Re: Respect the L/RR with no read?

(disclaimer! - I did not sort by position of the LRRer and these only include hands that were shown. The cards shown issue is important in my opinion, but I think it makes these stats stronger;...

Re: Stud 8 low limit hand at Stars - worked out, but any misplays?

[ QUOTE ]
Note:Although the more conservative views about this hand are well presented & perhaps correct,I just can't see the hand as being that weak, myself(obviously).

Third street is a little debateable. WIth a low ante like this I would prob muck it, but I may be persuaded otherwise. I think fifth is a fold. You are against probably a made low and...

Re: A questionable slowplay, but what about the river?

[ QUOTE ]
Nothing wrong with a calling the flop, if you raise the hand might end quickly (which you probably doesn't want). It's different with two suits, but here I'd think you're at least 90% fav...

The hand continues

So, I just called going for the overcall, but alas, the poster raised and BB called. Now what? I find it very difficult to fold here, but can we ever realistically be ahead? There is only one ace...

Re: A questionable slowplay, but what about the river?

So here are some thoughts on the river. There is one ace and one king unaccounted for. If we raise, only the ace will call while the king will raise. So we risk 2 to win 1 (maybe). On the other...

Re: Party 1/2 vs 2/4

Depends on time of day. The bad players are just as bad, but there are more and more good players as you move up. 2/4 is the first level where people who make a living doing this start to show up...

FYI calling this down is a very very easy thing to do in SH play in my opinion, it's almost always terrible.

simple situation, yet I am unsure.

Crypto 2/4 5 handed. I am working on my SH game, but have been running quite bad lately, so I am questioning things.

Villain here is somewhat loose aggressive pre-flop (about 36/16). I have seen...

Re: How Bad Did I Play This TT?

I think that calling down against this opponent is OK. You only need to be good 10% against a random bluffer here.

Deranged made me forget Clarkmeister

I had Deranged's recent post (link (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=0&Number=4165414&an=0&page=1#Post4165414)) on my mind when this hand came up. The villain here is...

Re: How many hands is enough?

Over my last 64,000 hands (since the beginning of the year) I am +2.02BB/100. In that 64,000 hands is a breakeven stretch lasting 28,600 hands. Draw whatever conclusions you will from this. ...

Re: SSHE Pot Odds question

Since on the flop, there is one fewer known card, the odds are slightly lower to hit for a given number of outs. This difference is safely ignored and using the table is fine. The other danger on...

Wait or go (and why)?

Third orbit at the table. BB is 33/10, so far. No idea of his 3-bet standards. I have seen him raise the flop with 55 on a 972 board and then take a free card on the turn. SB seems reasonable; he...
