Re: Curtains Hand - Early Position Push/No Push

Without seeing the entire HH I can't be certain, but it seems to me that a mistake was likely made in a previous hand. A hand that should have been pushed that wasn't. Being UTG with less than 4...

Keep in mind that Curtains is playing in a somewhat different game than most of you are used to.

Re: Multiple Party accounts on one IP address

You can play at the same time from 1 IP address. The system will keep you from sitting down at the same table.

Re: Custer Hand #2 - folding JJ to raise + curtains AI with 8BB

I thought it was very close, and thought about it for a while. Oban did not have to have much, Curtains knew that, and I knew that Curtains knew that. But Oban could have had me beat or had AK, and...

Re: Custer Hand #3 - folding ATo to SB 6bb push when you have him cove

I think this is a lot closer than most of you guys think. Yes, against most players this is most certainly a call. But its close. You lose ALL of your FE if you lose. Against L range, which I...

Re: Moses KT hand...seems like an easy call, am I missing something?

Have you run it through SNGPT, curtains? Hands like Q2s and J9o must be in raiser's range to make the call even marginally profitable. While I agree that his average range probably stops right...

Re: Moses early-level postflop hand

I think these hands have very marginal +EV. But only if they're played very well post flop. When you are playing many tables (and often doing other stuff as well), you have to manage your mental...

Re: ($215 custer) folding from the BB with 1:2.8 odds to call an all-i

What tigerite said. pandirector is a good player, he should need a really big hand to push here. Unless he knows that I know that and.... But I digress.

Re: Curtains Hand - JJ lvl3

With these stack sizes anything other than pushing is very bad IMO.

Re: Curtains Hand - A6o on bubble

"But if every single hand is getting raised ahead of Hero's rapidly-shrinking stack, I can see making this play as a lesser-of-two-evils compromise."

I disagree with this. You can always raise...

Re: ($215 custer) HU misclick or...?

"After some bad luck you were outstacked 1:2, and you clawed your way back to even. You had been pushing pretty much any two to get there,"

This is why I'm assuming he folds too much in general. ...

Re: ($215 custer) strange bubble play

I don't remember the actual hand, but there are many factors more important to me than my hand or dry ICM #'s. But let's look at those #'s: With L calling ranges from all opponents, EV Diff. is...

Re: ($215 custer) HU misclick or...?

Add ALL Ks, ALL Qs, ALL As, and ALL pairs. you get +0.2%. In a heads up game in which your opponent folds WAY too often (most 215s right now), do you want to take +0.2% here. I don't.

Re: ($215 custer) raising KQ utg seems to get you into a lot of troubl

It seems silly in an overall poker sense to not open with KQ n a 7 handed game. That's why I do it. But I now think it's a leak. My stats in teh 50-150 blind levels are not so good, and when you...

Re: ($215 custer) HU misclick or...?

Its definitely +EV to shove in a vacuum, but when you've been pushing any 2 and your opponent is almost sure to call with any king, I don't think its +EV then. Limping was probably a better play,...

Re: Custer Hand #3(BP): 7 handed, 11BB, 66 from MP

I think it takes very special circumstances to make pushing correct with a 10+BB relevant stack. Sometimes I raise to about 450 (425 - 475, where ever my clicker ends up /images/graemlins/smile.gif...

Re: Custer Hand #3(BP): 16BB, TT in BB, facing mini-raise from SB

Seems to me like I had 2 options. Call and give whatever pile SB just doubled the blind with a free flop, or raise to make him fold. I like raising. I don't think its close.

Re: Custer Hand #2(BP): A8 UTG, 5 handed

I agree with most that I should have folded this hand. There seems to be no logical reason for raising. I don't know why I would do such a thing. /images/graemlins/smile.gif Thanks for posting it...

Re: Custer Hand #1(BP).. 77 Stop and.. ?

The call PF seems very simple to me. I would never consider folding here for 100 chips. The turn is much more suspect. My experience is that this flop check is usually a big hand or nothing at...
