Re: Party\'s Scratchoff Promo

I got $30 on the first day, nothing since.

If I was running the promotion, Id make it random, but give increased chance to the players who play non-regularly in the hope that they become regulars....

Re: 400NL T8o blind defence

Ok here's the same version from the buttons pov.

Villain in this hand is the bb, whose blinds I have been raising continually just to build pots in position with any 2 cards. The table is weak,...

Yeah, so i set an account up ages ago and sat down at a 100nl table today to get used to the controls (cant tell u how pleased i was when i discovered the box to get rid of all the stupid graphics)....

Re: NL 400 KK hand

I think you played the hand fine. Certainly not a leak if you lost it.

There are times to flat call the bb-raise preflop (I would if i was new to the table, people are more likely to give you the...

Re: Some PT stats for my last 50k hands, are these #\'s off?

Over 200 hands with JJ and a loss on it?

There is a serious problem there.

Re: 2 NL400 hands, I play same line with same hand

Results:

Ok so not that interesting. In the hand I called the minraise although I was feeling sick about it and check folded to his pot sized bet on the turn.

Re: Trouble With Set.

This is 200nl full ring, lots of players wouldnt 3bet aces when they should. And if they didnt, most would continue the slowplay then come out of nowhere later in the hand, which is exactly what it...

Re: Trouble With Set.

Looking mathematically at it, 4 players and 8 cards saw a reraised pot in full ring. I would be VERY VERY surprised if one of those 8 cards wasnt an Ace. Since Button/CO dont have an ace, and you...

Re: River betting

Nice post.

My initial thought is: imo your argument is sound IF villian is either going to go all in (either call or raise), or fold.

However, you didnt mention the liklihood of respective...

Re: Which seat do you like best on the airplane?

Front is always superior to back, as it will be less noisy, being in front of the engines. Additionally, the air is circulated from the front, so has less carbon dioxide. Finally, should a 'Lost'...

2 NL400 hands, I play same line with same hand

6max. I'm 30/15 in this particular game I am not out of line much as only a few orbits. Villian in hand 1 is unknown and has a large stack. Villian in hand 2 at first seems wacky and tricky, but as...

Re: 3/6(6-max): 88 overpair on flop

Ive played with horry a fair bit and against him this minraise (from time to time) is probably a good plan, although I dont do it myself.

As withall things its player dependent, obviously in his...

Re: Flopped The Joint.

I dont think its profitable to block river.

I also cant see MP2 bluffing a high spade on river probably has decent showdown value such that he would be bluffing the best hand in his eyes, perhaps...

Re: A hand reading exercise

Buttons pathetic raises suggest he has a hand he really wants SB to play on with, he clearly doesnt care what SB has. So I think button has top set.

SB appears to want button out, several times...

Re: AA oop, i\'m scared

Easy call

He has flush here some of the time, but calling 400 into a 700 pot, off the top of my head you only need about to be good about 35-40% of the time if it were the river, but its the turn...

Re: AA oop, i\'m scared

I would push this if I were playing it. If I was technologic, considering the way he plays, I would think about folding, but probably call and c/r allin any non spade turn.

Re: out of line?

uhm its your whole mindset thats wrong

what were your thoughts preflop? 90% of the time the only way you can win this hand is with a check raise bluff, in which case why not call with any 2 cards...
