OOP on the river. Help please!

How do you play this river?

€2/4 (6 max)

Villain is a good and aggressive player. He has position on me and has been calling a lot of my pre-flop raises. He doesn't give up his blind...

Re: Fold to this obvious river value bet?

An auto-bluff situation for you opponent. He knows you don't have an eight. I would also fold in your position but I wouldn't be happy about it.

Does anyone know how to get handhistories from the Prima network?

Re: Balance between cheap cards and pot building with marginal hands

This is a really good topic I think. I find myself in this situation quite often with hands such as JJ and lower pocket pairs as well as with the suited connectors so it is not just a matter of...

Re: interesting queens hand

[ QUOTE ]
I am about 99% certain based on the betting that villain has AK, reraised preflop, took a stab at the pot, decided to give up the turn, and then called screaming "I'm rich, bitch!" on the...

Re: Turn Semi-Bluff: Good or Bad?

if utg+1 smooth calls I wouldn't bet again. He called on a scary board I can't know if he was on a flush draw or if he has a hand. He doesn't have to be slowplaying something big. He could have a...

Re: interesting queens hand

I don't understand the river push. Is it a bluff or a value bet. What hands will call here that Hero can beat? JJ? I don't know how wild your game was but If my reraise got raised pf I'd be very...

Re: Turn Semi-Bluff: Good or Bad?

His turn bet makes him look weak and if I was in his seat with only a jack then I would surely fold to the check raise (unless you're a LAG, but I would probably fold anyway since UTG+1 is still in)....

I agree with Kylma. Nir was asking the question.

Re: Please help Analyze my stats (3036 hands)

I agree with you Nir. 3000 hands can be used for some analysis. It is not enough to determine your winrate and you will not be able to get much info on your river bluff success but when it comes to...

Now I can bluff-push any club turn and probably win.

Re: Two pairs - free (almost) play from SB

He could have 67 which would be really bad, but he could also have top pair, an overpair or even a draw. You're out of position so I suggest you commit him on the flop and end the guessing game. If...

Re: AKs UTG

[ QUOTE ]

Honestly, I'm very certain that UTG+2 had AK/AQ/AJ based on his play. He had no reason to believe that you had AK (raise preflop!), so he probably thought that he was ahead and got...

Re: AKs UTG

I generally don't mind folding a pair, but this hand is suspect. I can't really put him on a two pair or a str8. Then only trips remain, but for some reason I put him on an ace. Maybe it's becaus...

Re: out of the kiddy pool or a dumb move?

The flop is pretty standard. You raised pf and now you bet out representing a pair. Ordinary flop steal.

Turn is ok I think. You could bet but your opponent will call so why bet. Just hope he...

Re: Preflop Raising Question

When this happens to me, that is when I have no steal succes at all for a while, then I tighten up. I see fewer flops so that I see fewer of these situations. This is mostly psycological in my case....

Re: AA again.

I think we all agree that I wasn't aggressive enough in this hand. But what if I would have bet the pot instead of $25 on the flop (I think this would have been better). KT would still have stayed...

Wow, your turn bet is awful. If you're going to bet, bet, but dont go 30.

That flop is HIGHLY coordinated, so with two opponents I'd go like 30+

getting called in two spots would...

I usually bet, bet, bet with aces but in this hand I had two opponents + a bad feeling.

JJ against a pf reraise+ result

I was of course worried about a pp. One could say that his reraise pf served it's purpose. I was intimidated. I agree that my flop bet is too weak, it doesn't really put pressure on my opponent and I...

JJ against a pf reraise

I found myself without a good plan in this hand and got into a passive check-call mode. How would you play it and why? I didn't have a good read, but my opponent seemed better and more aggressive...

Re: Deep-stacked semi-bluff vs. overpair, 2/5NL

If your read is that good, then go ahead and bluff. Online I would never bluff again after the first bluff failed. If I decide to semi-bluff the turn I'd bet bigger (pot bet) or go for a check raise...

Made a little mistake on hand 2. I thought Villain put himself all-in. You don't need to go all in on the flop but try to build the pot as big as possible.
