After cashing out a pretty large chunk of my bankroll to care for the holidays and year-end family expenses back in November, I had to find a way to build back up. When I looked at the...

after a while this was like the most boring thing I've ever tried so I'd rather kill myself.

Why no turn bet? If he likes his hand this is the time to get some money in! I'm not afraid of JT (yet).
And why not check-call the river and let him bluff? I don't see you getting paid often...

Re: A little line check or two

1st hand i think you should've potted the flop and pushed the turn. You are most likely ahead and drawing to the nuts, so you should get as much money in as possible. As played, just go...

Re: Ooops I missed. Line check?

Why did you even get involved on the flop in this small pot, out of position, with nothing, fairly deep, against a LAG? What the hell do you care about this pot? It has roughly zero chance to win you...

Re: Tourney hand

OK this is a little math problem.

You're risking 30k to win at most 7500, but the all in fellow probably has you beat a little bit (20% or so) of the time, so let's say if everyone folds your...

Re: 2/4, J8s trips on flop, my plan fails

What were you doing not potting the flop if you've been potting every hand up until then? If they have an overpair you want this pot to get big fast so you can get their stack in the middle. Lead the...

Re: Size Does Matter

Seems like one of those spots where he's either feeling it out with 88/99/QJ type stuff, or trying to build a pot with bottom set. That said, if you raise he probably folds all the hands you want in....

Re: 5/10 NL 6Max....Is this chip spewing?

The fun with gross overbets is that, if you have it, it only neets to get called like 1/10 of the time (for a 10x pot bet) to be better than a pot sized value bet (that mostly always gets called)....

I would probably make a solid flop raise and shove out any remotely marginal hand he could have. I'd do this with air too, but while you're often ahead your...

Re: JJ - a small overpair hand and a funky line - $200 NL

If he's LAG and bad-ish, he's probably not the type to check behind a blank turn, whether he has a hand or draw or whatever. I feel like you can get all in on a turn checkraise a good chunk of the...

Re: Two interesting PF decisions in the same hand with AK

Man..... I muck this.

Good player makes an enormous reraise after UTG raises 4x and two people cold call? If he had a real hand, could he reraise less than all in? What do you do with KK there?

I agree with the rest of the lot. Even though I very often play AA/KK (especially AA) exactly like this with these stacks, I don't think you're beat 75% of the time here. Makes me want to puke a...
