Re: 3 handed Party $25 - CB on flop, pick up draw on turn

I think checking is OK on the turn, at those low limits people tend not to bet their hands properly thus you get good odds to draw and probably will get payed good when you hit.He bet slightly less...

Re: How many buy-ins must you lose before calling it quits for the day

Yeah, I'm a wuss. Making a transition to NL 6 max cash, so i'm moving up when i feel comfortable with my game, I want to make the misstakes where it's cheap.
I wont violate my 100 buy in rule...

Re: How many buy-ins must you lose before calling it quits for the day

I think a lot of people go on tilt because they have lost more money than they can handle.
I go by a very conservative bankroll management rule; I always have at least 100 buy ins for any given...

Re: Value bet?

[ QUOTE ]
I'm checking behind.

This board sucks, I'd just showdown.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think you would get a call a fair % of the time with him having two pair or something, but at these levels...

Re: Bad bluff?

[ QUOTE ]
If you think a bluff is going to take it down, then make it full pot.

[/ QUOTE ] Although this looks like a check fold to me without a good read.

Re: SB vs BB rock

Ok i guess you guys are right. I dont do these moves often but the read i had was that there was no way he was calling river and i went with my read. In this actual hand he did fold and i picked up...

Re: SB vs BB rock

Ok, seems like the consensus is that it was a bad move. I really thought all he had was an 8 and that he was just getting stubborn on those mediumsized bets. I thought there was no way that he could...

Re: 5/10 Prelfop push w/AK

If i understand it correctly then you are representing a second high low against an UTG raiser that without any other read seems to be holding a monster. Brave move.

Edit: that was before i read...

SB vs BB rock

The Villain is a rock. My read in the hand was that he had hit an 8 or an 7. perhaps a flush draw and that he wanted a showdown, though i thought that if i pressured he would fold.

My image is...

Re: TT on low flop.

Ok, i wasnt calling for set value though, so that's all good.
I like your line hattifnatt to bet out, that would have given me some information cheaper.
When he bet out 28 he didnt have much left...

Re: Blocking bets

In the SSNL forum i was told that a blocking bet was about 20% of the pot.
My thoughts about blocking bets were that if a player is good then he will definatly pick up that i dont bet 20% of the pot...

Blocking bets

I posted a question like this on the small stakes forum before but i'm interested if mid- high stakes see it differently.
Basically my questions are;
Do you use blocking bets?
If so,
Why and...

Re: TT on low flop.

Ok, with no read, just a regular 200NL 6 max player. Is the general consenus to fold preflop? And what move on the flop if you called?

Re: TT on low flop.

You are right, if you really read him for AA-QQ and read that you will get him all in if you hit your trips then it's a slight ev- call. 7.67 to 1.

Re: TT on low flop.

Ok, why? You read his raise to be a too good hand? and if so then that he's not deep enough to be worth hitting trips on?
If you really read him for AA-QQ you can bet your getting him all in on the...
