Paris breakfast buffet is by far the best. I think it's around $13.99 before 11, then goes up a couple bucks for lunch. We always hit it around 10:30, eat breakfast and hang around for the Killer...

tunica update?

Does anyone have info regarding the Tunica casinos? Were they damaged at all? Are they still full of refugees? I'll be there in three weeks will my rooms still be reserved?

Binions and the Plaza are DUMPS. The only place I play downtown is Golden Nugget. Nice casino, good variety of games. Check AllVegasPoker (http://allvegaspoker.com) for updates.

Check the Monte Carlo (http://www.monte-carlo.com) . They have very reasonable rates, and even poker rates if you plan to play there. Nice poker room, too.

My table is an elongated octagon. It's 88"x5", making it shorter than a full-size oval but wider so that I still can fit ten very comfortably. And it's not near as bad to deal from the ends....

Either check the turn or put out a large enough bet that you can REALLY get a feel for where the SB is at. I like checking though.
