Re: Broadband/Voip- the future?

I was involved in a start-up VoIP play. It's a good technology. However, it seems that most want to view it as an evolutionary step, rather than an evolutionary one. In other words...

Re: Techno Songs
take a look at Ferry Corsten, older Armin van Buuren ... might like George Acosta as well. Also, Paul Oakenfold sets from 1998-1999 had this type of vocal trance.

Re: The UNSTOPPABLE Decision-Support Revolution
Speaking as a Computer Science major, I'd be very very very surprised if you could actually get this to work with any reliability over 70k players. How rapidly do you think stats converge? And even...

Hey all,
Going to Vegas in a few weeks (Jan 20) -- I've gotten a pretty good idea from the forum where to go to play poker, but what about nightlife (I'm 22)... My friends say the Hard Rock is one...

Re: 52 BB\'s in one hand!
Does anyone else think the play on the turn (and maybe even the flop) is pretty LAGgy, or is that just weak-tight thinking on my part? You're not in a raising war with 1 player, but 2...I'd certainly...

Re: THE Correct Hand History - My Bad
At the time the action gets back to you there are 14SB in the pot. You need to call 2.
14:2 = 7:1
not 10.5:1
edit: you're correct that 10.5:1 are the odds you need, but you seem to be...

Am I the only one who doesn't like the 3-bet in hand 1? You have a decent hand, but with a bet and a raise I'm not as excited about my hand anymore ... I think the BD flush gives you odds to call,...

Re: What would you do on this flop?
I agree with your friend -- a 9 is the 3rd nut flush so it's probably worth calling down with it. If the board had been say 248c then calling down would not be correct.

The way I understand this concept, and I certainly could be wrong, is that the "wait until the turn to raise" idea usually only applies to fairly vulnerable hands. I don't think AA on that board is a...

Raise is fine...I don't know what I'd do on the flop. Given SBs PF aggression and the fact that you'd have to call 2 cold, I'd probably just fold here.
I'm not sure what to do if MP1 had just...
