Re: diablo v strassa 25/50 UB

I didn't copy and paste it at the time, the hand is from my (bad) memory - I understand if you don't want to post it but the whole reason I started the thread was to clarify what the action was from...

Re: Buying in Short in Mid/High NL Games

IMO you want to find a loose/gambling game and be able to get all in on the flop for around a potsized raise of a CB. if the standard open here is say 50 and usually multiway 3/4/5 handed then 1k...

Re: diablo v strassa 25/50 UB

I'm not very good at posting HH, which is the reason I don't post a lot.

I was posting the basic info so one of them might remember it and post the exact hand.

The hand may work better then if...

diablo v strassa 25/50 UB

I was watching them 4 handed on UB and may have the action/board wrong but the basic info is there. If either wants to post the hand, IMO it has some merit for discussion.

Diablo is sb 10k, fish...

Re: Party $2k hand

Haha, yes good question....

I thought he would check behind but not call an all in. It's not my usual play to bet half my stack here but I thought he might fold to an all in and a strange bet...

Re: A prelude and a hand

Just because villain is playing it like a flopped set doesn't mean he has one....look at the previous history, Strassa is very LAG (hopefully pushing lots of draws)
I agree with Yeti, you will get...

Re: Party $2k hand

I hear ya, just to be clear to anyone else posting I am not hero and I don't really like it either, what hands you put villain (me) on?

Re: nizzles? oohoohTERRA?

why?

IMHO the public forum shouldn't be used for this type of question unless they are pro's/famous.

Re: A prelude and a hand

I would not consider getting away from this hand given your image, based on the history he shouldn't be slowplaying a set on the flop with this board...therefore I overbet push. If he has a boat, so...

Party $2k hand

I haven't posted for a while and feel a bit greedy just lurking all the time, so here is a semi-interesting hand on Party - I have reversed Hero and Villain to see how readable I am. I know you guys...

Re: Good vs Bad In Multi Way Pots (Starting Hands)

Good post Bear, I just wanted to start things off, so didn't get to s/c but yes they have great multiway value if your limping in LP or calling a raise behind 4/5 others with decent stacks. Opening...

Re: Good vs Bad In Multi Way Pots (Starting Hands)

Not sure why no-one has replied to this, seems like a fairly reasonable post, so I'll throw in my 2c. (If it has been discussed on this forum before, then my apologies but I haven't seen it)

Re: To LAG or not to LAG...

s/c are better if your opponent is weak/tight and will lay down overpairs to semibluff raises or if there are a couple of callers in front of you.
HU against an opponent who won't lay down...

Re: KQ, very multiway, very OOP

If everyone checks to the button and he bets, then c/r him hard to isolate him and try to just take the pot. The only issue with that is if a shorty in MP decides to push a diamond draw and it starts...

Re: QQ in MP, ok line?

Bet half the pot on the turn, if you get raised in this spot, dump it. If you get called on the turn, check behind on the river or a call a smallish bet if he leads.
