The 2/4 ($300 buyin max/min, $6 time) is much more reasonable ... unforunately, they usually only have one or two games of 2/4 with ten plus games of 1/2.

Different # of people at final table for Stud and Hold'em/Omaha ... for heads up, 5th-8th isn't really different, they all went out in the quarterfinals.

Stud events

1st 300 points
2nd 200 points
3rd 140 points
4th 100 points
5th 80 points
6th 70 points

I've run a series of tournaments a couple of times (with event sizes varying from 15-35), and the way I awarded points was 1000 points per event total to the final table, split up the same way that...

The Akwenasne reservation is in Northern NY/Quebec/Ontario. I wasn't aware of a casino there though, so maybe he's talking about some other Akwhatever.

Hand #1: Hero has ~$300. Villian has been fairly passive, and barely has me covered.

I get 22 in MP. 2 limp to me, I limp, 2 more limp, Villian in BB makes it $25 to go, and only I call.

I was quite good at winning the pots that were <.05, but once they got to .30 or so, I struggled. Nice job, mountain_rat.

Haven't done any calculations ... but my instinct would be 67o, which both blocks all of the 22 straights and still has the maximum number of straight outs itself.
