6th street, bet or check

I was uncertained about this hand from 4th onward. I'm pretty sure checking 4th was right. But the bet on 5th? I figured if no one wanted to be 4th I very may well be ahead with two pair, but I...

Re: 2+2 Tourney - Hand 11

this looks like a steal gone bad. I'd have bet 4th, failing that bet 5th

how\'s the play here?

I waited until sixth to pop because neither board was looking scary so I figured why not build a pot.. But when I do and seat 2 seemed to have autocall on and seat 4 3 bet I got a little scared. I...

Re: I hate two small pair

I agree that the 5th street bet isn't close, it's mandatory.

But I wonder about the fold on 6th. It really depends on what you figure seat two has. If you assume no one can make a low you're...

Re: stud8 hand: overpair c/red by open baby pair

assuming you're behind and you need a boat to win, you're 8.75:1 against making one of your four outs. You're getting 8.5:1 pot odds. So regardless you're basically correct to see the river card. ...

Re: adjustments for 3/6 and 5/10

I've also recently made the move upward from 2/4 and have been doing better at 5/10 than 3/6. I'm curious how people respond to your post.

Re: stud hi tournament heads up

I think you played fine. Given what you've seen earlier you can't give him credit for the king.

Re: This one might be a little better...

you're right to chase it all the way to the river, at which point I can't see folding for one more bet

Re: and this one?

it just seemed so weak that seat 5 didn't complete on 3rd that I really didn't think he had anything and was just bluffing his "big" cards

otherwise I agree, I tend to fold 4th as well.

Re: tournament Andy B river play

I'd have raised 4th, but barring that I can't see playing it any other way. It sucks to fold the river, but really you're only beating a bluff here.

Re: Party $2/4, So I raised the bring-in with KK and got five callers

Hang on...Maybe I'm not understanding things here but I don't see raising 4th in this position limiting the field. 4 people have already called one bet, you think they'll fold for one more? (assuming...
