Re: Mini-raisers!

Just looking at the stacks, the blinds, and the extra 150 in the bb, I don't think you can fold here. I wouldn't call though. I think you need to gamble. hmmmmm you might have some Preflop FE too,...

Pokertracker and squinting at the truth (long)

It's nearly impossible for me to remember everything when I play online. In live play it's a lot easier because I can look at someone's face, and that face reminds me of the hand or hands I've seen...

Re: $22 - Stop n go with 66 or try to double up?

[ QUOTE ]
So this dude is probably calling the flop anyway.

[/ QUOTE ]

Just because you're fairly sure he calls you anyway, it still makes sense to try. least I think so.

Re: Party has added speed sngs

I can't wait till someone figures out an average length for these and we compare them to the Turbos on PS. Same level times on PS but you get more chips, hmmmm also one less player. To win a PS turbo...

Re: (55) 2nd pair + gutshot bubble

Re: Another AA hand **yawn**

This is the most interesting question that's been asked I think.

It's really weird because unless you know this, the turn weak bet will get HERO into trouble sometimes. If you put him on a pair...

Re: (55) 2nd pair + gutshot bubble

you absolutely have to check fold here. Button could be limping with a small ace, instead of raising, because of the short stack. Maybe he doesn't want to take risks with say A7. But more importanly...

Re: I think this is right but scuba disagrees

I think the most important part of Grumps post is when he explains how you should calculate the pot odds. If your not calling for pot odds in this BORDERLINE situation, than what are you calling...

Re: ($33) Bring shorty ai with J2?

If I did play this hand with the BB I wouldn't push. I probably limp, then push the flop. If you know he's going to call the push, then this play can only help you when you hold a less than average...

Re: Party $20+2: AKs first hand - Do we gamble?

Re: So what the crap do I do now?

What buy in is this hahahah???

check fold the turn...hell I fold out of turn here, I wouldn't even bother clicking check.

That 300 is looking very juicy for a preflop push...hmmmm I'm looking...

Re: Please evaluate

I think he meant the initial limp....which I believe is wrong also. I doubt very highly he meant call the raise and play poker hahaha....at least I hope /images/graemlins/confused.gif.

Re: $55: 88 utg w/ the chip lead

when there is 6 people left, I don't make to much of having 3k in chips and the chip lead. I still don't take flip risks. Just the way I play. Although I will admit that If I feel I can steal...like...

Re: $55: 88 utg w/ the chip lead

with 707 CO to act behind you, I might throw it away. I'm not looking to flip for 707 in chips. Yeah I guess I chuck it, and be a little annoyed about doing so.

Re: Table selection- Do you avoid people on the Leaderboard?

The fact that everone is saying no to this is sorta scary. Avoiding people doesn't cost any money, and it can only save you money. If they're better than average that is. This is free EV. How do you...

Re: 100+15 at the Mirage

I just read the first few sentences of this, and saw you smooth called a min raise from the UTG player when you held KK. This isn't a good idea. You're letting the whole table have a go at a pot...

Re: Turbo SNG Bubble

I fold unless I have something decent. I would like them to just trade chips until one gets knocked out, rather than risk doubling one of them up.

Re: $33 - Postflop: OOP w/AJ scare card on turn

trouble with this hand the blocker bet won't work on the river....he'll still raise you with the case ace. You won't know if he has a flush, house, or just worse trips.

on that note I...I have no...

Re: ($27) - damn over-pair anyway: 99 facing some heat

couple of things...i don't think you bet enough.

you still have outs if you're beat...hell you could have more outs than you think if you are up against 2 pair like 78. Any 5, 6, 9 or whatever...

Re: Akward stack spot - whats my line?

if the ante has kicked in I would push. If not, I raise to 550 and play it like aces.

Re: OT: Pokerstars question that has been asked 1000 times before, sorry

dude seriously I'm switching from PS to PP. I decided yesterday. I play the 27s/60s, and I feel like I'm just pissing away money. I make great profit, but I could make a lot more on PP. The 27s are...

Re: ($55) ITM push, my heart says yes but my brain says no

yeah go for it, you probably have the dude crushed...only thing though is the button does have a lot of room to call you. If you both had like 4k or so then there wouldn't be a question, I push. But...
