Re: The 3rd Shot at 10/20 is a charm... but not

Again, you are right that I have played a very small number of hands. I should probably play more before moving up, as there are probably quite a few things I could/should master before moving up,...

Re: The 3rd Shot at 10/20 is a charm... but not

Yes, I agree that I have not played very many hands. I also do not have any live experience, except the occasional home games with friends, but all they want to play is No Limit.

Re: The 3rd Shot at 10/20 is a charm... but not

krishan,

I have 21,000 at 5/10 6max, and also 3000 hands at 1/2 6max and 7000 at 3/6 6max.

My numbers all around are all generally the same as well.

The 3rd Shot at 10/20 is a charm... but not

I have been mostly a 5/10 6max player, and building my bankroll, I have naturally taken shots at 10/20 6max. I did so with 300 BBs, which is not very assuring for short handed games of high variance,...

Re: But I Have Trip Aces!

Nice analysis. This woulda been an easy river raise for me, but aafter reading the reasoning I'll have to look more closely into situations like these. Thanks!

Re: Que\' Onda Guero (2 questions)

Is it still an easy call if the spade didn't fall on the turn, or is villain donking a lot with two pair here as well?

Re: Call 2 bets w/ flush draw and gutshot on turn?

I usually semi bluff with my draws. Given your line, I'd raise the flop once it comes back and lead the turn.

Re: QJo vs TAG 3-bet on a Jh 9s 8h board

Open-raise preflop, entire hand plays different.

I'd probably call down though.

Re: peterchi = aggro fish? (A6o in BB)

Yeah I agree with the 3-bet/fold and bet/fold lines.

BTW, is raising preflop horribly bad? Suited is easy raise?

Yeah raise and call a bet.

FWIW, on the AKs hand, I would 3bet and call down.

Re: **** OFFICIAL PARTY SUPER MONDAY ****

Haha that is true too. I was likely to be dominated if I hit with that many callers, and blinds were small I had plenty of time to wait for a better spot. Just got impatient and tilted a little.

Re: **** OFFICIAL PARTY SUPER MONDAY ****

Edit: Just busted. Called a min-raise...

Re: Party $109 MTT: 99 hand with small M facing a raise

Yeah, I thought so... it seems I get busted out of tourneys frequently by pushing with the pair and then racing or being dominated, but I guess every situation has its differences and that means I...
