I used to play 6 max SNG's on Pacific Poker as well... But then I came to a realization:

When I play 10 man SNG's, due to tight early play I can simply outlast my way to 6 people left the VAST...

definately should have pushed preflop. You've only got 12 BB's. Any re-raise that you can make basically pot commits you. Better to push than to raise and call his push.

He could have all sorts of things that you would have beat. The only hands that seem likely to me and have you beat are AK and QQ, which are possible, but...

I agree.

He probably thinks you raised PF with high cards and then made a continuation bet on the flop with them. Then when you no high card comes on the turn he thinks you gave up. So, he bets...
