40-80 borgata same opponent

Same night, but a different table than the steal hand.
This took place before the other hand. I've been a little over aggressive with pocket pairs post-flop and haven't won with any of my raised...

40-80 borgata blind steal

Good game on a thursday night/friday morning. Button is a regular and more than likely is a winning player, but not by much. He knows I am TAG and has seen me steal and isolate 3-bet with weakish...

If you're willing to just call the C/R because it gives you the chance to suckout when behind, then you have to call a 4-bet for the same reason.

If you 3-bet and he caps, and the river does not improve your hand, do you call a river bet?

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't plan on calling a turn 4-bet.

Now I\'m confused...

If you're going to fold on this turn why are you calling the flop?

Re: Donk river bet, what\'s my line?

I think SB plays enough hands and is aggressive enough to play A-10 this way. Once MP is out he should definitely be raising the turn with a 9 or anything stronger than a naked 4. What other hands...

Re: 150-300 PAYOFF

but if you thought the BB had air why not bet the turn? He has a hard time calling with undercards. And if you thought he probably had an ace or a pair....well I don't know I guess I...

Re: 20/40 AJs Borgata

With so much confusion as to who actually did the betting and raising the correct play could be almost anything. But, if you're going to check the flop I think it's a 3-bet or fold situation. Either...

Just for hand 1:
Does "a relatively uninteresting player" mean incapable of making this move with a pocket pair or (but especially) with two cards with nothing on them? Without the spade I think I...

I should\'ve capped...I think?

Taj 20/40

Villain #1 - Hijack: regular/typical Taj player. Plays tight until he loses a pot and then it can be anything. Knows I'm TAG, but is playing for vengance after my top pair+gutshot...

Re: Drawing to overcards on the flop? Just a check-up.

You're absolutly right. I think I'm just pushing for an example to push this more to a fold and mine isn't very close. Thanks for indulging me at least.

I do still think it's a fold. With one of...

Re: Drawing to overcards on the flop? Just a check-up.

all i was really trying to get at was that in essence you're drawing to 2 outs (the two non-spade queens) which when hit have a chance of being either no good or sucked out on the river.

Re: 99 set problems

Raise. Plenty of aggressive players will cap AQs on the button, so he could very easily be raising top-two. If he caps bet out and call a raise. If he capped JTs PF more power to him but I doubt that...

Re: PP now has 20-40?

The taj actually tried to open a 40 game this weekend which would have been subject to the ridiculousness of using 8 and 16 $5 chips for betting. The game never got going though...(50/100 on sunday...

I totally agree, which is why I didn't push it when the option was giving about calling the original raise and folding. But either way she didn't leave and steamed off most of her chips.
