the maniac in MP1

[/ QUOTE ]

Ah yes. Reading posts. Whoops. I'm gonna check-call down after the flop gets capped most likely.

Re: Have I gotten weak? TT UTG

Looks OK, [censored] turn card. If Villain is a little more aggro I might call down.

Re: hero, a maniac, and a villian (flame away)

Hey,

Preflop is good. The flop bet is good. The flop 3-bet is too aggro, as is leading the turn after the flop gets capped. A read on MP1 would be helpful. I'd probably call down after I get...

Re: 88 in MP

I'd think very seriously about check-folding this flop with 4 opponents, two overs and several possible draws.

Re: The dreaded ATo scenerios

1) Fold
2) Bet the turn, call down if raised. Bet-call the river if called on the turn. (Maybe bet-fold if the button is really passive).
3) Limp
4) Read-dependent, default fold
5) Probably a...

Re: River Vs. Loose Passive

Unless you think you'll be able to fold out BB a high percentage of the time I'd be hesitant to raise it here. You describe your opponents as loose-passive; I'd prefer to just call preflop and keep...

Re: pokerroom 2/4 Full house

Do you have a read on UTG+1?

Preflop and flop look fine. I'd 3-bet the turn. If he caps, check-call the river. If he just calls, lead the river.

Re: Ugly, indecisive TT hand

I probably let this one go on the turn once CO calls MP2's bet a second time. This is a weird hand. I definitely don't overcall the river.

Re: River Vs. Loose Passive

Out of position this is not a good preflop raise.

Re: Hand Protection

Bet the flop. Every time. This is an easy value bet, and you have to make it.

Re: River Play?

[ QUOTE ]
I say check and grudgingly call.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you check, is Villain going to bet any hand that we beat? I don't think 88 or 99 with one heart is going to peel one off here.

Re: I hate KTo - and this one is really ugly

[ QUOTE ]
If tens are not so good, then why do we raise TT from any position pre-flop, and 3-bet often as well?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because TT flops a set 1 time in 8.5, or an overpair a good...

No it isn't,

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm gonna stick by this one; the preflop call is not one I would make. With 5 limpers maybe, or with KJ+ I'm raising, but KTo hits the muck here every...

Re: River Play?

Given your description fo the button I think bet-fold is right on the river. Once he calls your turn bet you can be 99% sure he has a heart. When he raises you on the river you can be 99% sure he...

Re: I hate KTo - and this one is really ugly

This is a pretty bad preflop call.

I'd fold if MP1 had bet the turn.

Since you're here, bet the river.

Re: River bet?

If you can't fold to a river raise here you shouldn't bet.

That said I'd probably check and call because I would not be happy folding.

Re: $1-$2 FL

Hand one easy fold preflop.

Hand two, why are you going for a random checkraise on the turn? Just bet. If he raises, call down.

I don't know if everyone saying "raise pre-flop" noticed that you called UTG's raise.

Re: 2 River Decisions

Hand 1 you gotta raise preflop.

Hand 2, the river decision is close but I think I find a fold here.

Re: Mid pair, inside straight draw - out of position

When CO bets the flop, I'd checkraise. I think it's a great spot for it. If you get 3-bet (unlikely), call and reevaluate on the turn. If you only get one caller, I fire one more out on the turn...
