[ QUOTE ]

Re: Badly confused

the flop aside, i think the turn is a *must* bet. You can't afford to let it get checked around. i think people tend to freeze up and refrain from betting (and calling sometimes) on the turn, because...

You should be happy to win a small pot rather than lose a big one.

Re: EP Raises scaring people off at 0.02/0.04 limits

i went through the same: stars and paradise at 2c/4c, then up a notch and up a notch

If you raise AA UTG at 2c/4c and the flop is 2/3 handed, I think you've made a mistake. I would suggest leaving...

Re: AJo question

AQ and AK i raise in the blinds. AJ i chk/call, but raise in Middle and Late positions. I treat KQo the same, but not KJ, or AT, which do not have as much high card strength. At really low limits I...

Re: MUBS or appropriate caution?

:leader:
so what you're saying is call and let them chase air? Because raising gets them out and we want them in donating money?

That may see good if the pot was smaller, 10 bets is looking...

I don't get the flop raise. What do you want other players to fold here? They aren't folding a flush draw. Like 23 or 34? I'd rather call and see the turn. Given...

I was hoping to fold out A-rag hands by representing the bigger ace.

Also, protecting your hand from somebody with 3/4clubs. (makes a straight with a '2'), and encouraging others to make bad and...

Re: Why am I getting creamed at these games?

[ QUOTE ]
I type in the chat "I'm not paying off an ace" and I fold. I don't care that the pot was laying 11-1, I was 99% sure they had an ace, so I'm not wasting money paying it off.

Thanks for the replies. What mistake did I make on the flop with top pair though? Should I have just bet at it? There were 6 SB in the pot, if I bet I'm offering 6.5:1 on a call....
