5-5 Hand from Harrah\'s New Orleans

My strategy in sitting at this table was two-fold. First, to avoid the two very good players at the table, which I did successfully. Second, to isolate the player on my immediate right, who I quickly...

Re: Top Two Pair question on the Turn.

i am assuming you don't have the suits.

Re: Nut straight with a scary river

if he has a flush he will bet it. his obvious draw has hit. you are likely to check behind. so unless you are at some higher level where he is thinking about what you are thinking then you should bet...

Re: BET THE TURN???

checking behind is terrible. UTG knows that your buddy is unlikely to bet the turn without a good holding, so if he has something he will bet out.

Re: Flopped the boat...Wheres the action?

is it just me or is it not PERFECT to have the board paired b/c overpairs will slow down more if you give them action?

as for the play of the hand, if you check behind and the flop and then...

Re: Proposed PLO FAQ

you don't necessarily have to give answers, but those are some of the most common questions, so if the FAQ is frequently asked questions, then you should address them in one manner or another, even...

Re: First PLO/8 post

your underbet makes it such that you have no idea what anyone has. bet out, and if there is a raise and a caller or a raise and a reraise then you have to think about dropping your hand.

once...

Re: the big game at harrah\'s east chicago

Re: good read or stupid raise ?

you are heads up with someone that you have marked with aces. not sure why you fear the wrap. is this guy raising out of the blinds with J98? as for the flush, the ace has to be suited. then that has...

Re: Suited connectors in raised pots

Say you have 8s 7s and the flop comes Qd 4s 5s
Or you have 8s 7s and the flop comes Qs 8h 5s

Do you really want to push in a multiway pot? And would you be happy if you get called?

Re: Help me to play this hand better.

some questions:
how deep is everyone?
will he bet into a flush board without a flush?
can you lay down a hand if the flush comes?

if the money is short then you might as well be aggressive...

What would he call you with on the turn that he will not...

Re: Suited connectors in raised pots

Re: A couple of B&M PLO 2/2 hands

hand 1 is pretty similar to a hand that was discussed recently. you realize that if you don't fill up on the turn, you must be beat given how low your kickers are.

hand 2 your opponent could have...

Re: is there any other play here? party $100pl OMAHA

Re: new to omaha...how did i do w/this hand?

given that you have an ace, there is less reason to be worried about aces. also, many people in early position prefer to limp reraise with aces, so you should be even less worried.

you are right...
