Re: Is folding this a huge leak?

I normally flat call early in a tourney, and just happily fold it to a big raise. Why get involved that early against god only knows what? I've found that early on you just can't push the fish...

Re: flop raise too big, too small, or just right?

wrong forum? I saw quite a few other $100-NL posts here and thought that $100 was where the mid-limit forum started. Completely understanding your "read-dependent" comment, do you think in general...

Re: How should this be played

May not be the right answer, but I call. You're already halfway into a huge pot. You're dominated by AA/JJ, you're a 5:1 dog against 66. Some part of me thinks that if villian has AA/JJ he doesn't...

playing trips with weak kicker

Villian is reasonably tight but not particularly aggressive: PT says 30/5 over about 50 hands. I don't see him as a great risk taker, but seems to play decent hands such as TPTK and two small pair...

Re: turn call with 11-out draw... yes/no/maybe?

I bet the turn looking for the following responses (in order of preference):
1) two calls
2) two folds
3) one fold, one call
4) one fold, one small raise

obviously I got what I wasn't looking...

turn call with 11-out draw... yes/no/maybe?

Trying to figure out whether the turn call was justified. $12 to take a shot at $31, that's 2.5:1 odds, right? I've got 11 "nut" outs, meaning if I hit I'm not folding no matter what. That's...

Re: QQ turn check-raise

My possible reads on his hand are either AT/KT, or connecting hearts. If it's the former, I think you're spot on. If it's the latter, I would never have given him the free card. What did you read...

Where\'s the pretty pokerhand to HTML converter?

I see people posting pretty HTML-ized hands all the time here, and can't seem to find the converter. I checked the FAQ and even google, so maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place. Can someone...

I own the samsung 213T, and it is absolutely MAGNIFICENT. I've never seen another LCD with better color or contrast. It was not cheap, I think I paid about $950 for mine on ebay. Then again, I...

Tackling the pot raise... what do you need to have?

Our Hero holds [Ah Qh Qd Jd], $25 PLO-High at Party. .25/.50 blinds. Play goes call, call, call, I raise to $1, followed by three calls and a fold. UTG pot-raises to $7.75. No notes on this one,...
