Re: Best Place To Live While Playing Poker?

norway is pretty decent. winnings (i.e one pot, one tournament win) less than 10k NOK (approx $1,500-$1,600) aren't taxable. live poker isn't allowed tho /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Re: WoW question

Agreed, after playing Asheron's Call on Darktide during its prime every other mmorpg becomes boring.

J9s blindwar turn 3-bet

Let's say the villain is a typical 10/20 player.

Who likes this turn 3-bet?

Re: Routine KK?

I would 3-bet this turn because I know I have button beat, I'm actually more worried that BB might have a 3.

Re: two weak-tight hands

I don't understand his river raise in hand 1 so I usually 3-bet here. i'd suspect you would have heard from a better flush on the turn. i'd also checkraise the turn.

hand 2 I call it down.

Re: Compare and Contrast: SimCity 4 and Civ 3

Please don't get SimCity 4. Civ 3 is so much better. The best thing about is that while a military conquest might be one of the better ways to succeed in the game, it's definitely not the...

Re: taking shots, always failing (low limit and low content)

hand 1 is standard

hand 2 you do generally not want to coldcall, EVER. (note i said generally, coldcalling with low pairs when others have coldcalled before you etc is fine). so fold this preflop....

Re: I\'ll start raising these rivers

The reason I want to raise the river is because every two pair hand out there just got counterfeited, and JT QT missed, but still may call a river raise.

I believe the turn is a bad spot to 3-bet...

I\'ll start raising these rivers

Villain is 40/11/1.75

This is an obvious river checkraise right?

hand 1 - let it go.

Re: do i muck somewhere here?

you 3 bet the flop. changes the dynamic of the hand and if you're raised on the turn/river you can safely fold UI.
