I agree. I'm going to try and mix it up a bit in these type of situations.

That's funny. I just started reading HOH2 this morning and he addresses this exact situation in the first chapter.

Pot size in NLHE

Am I correct in thinking that in NLHE the dealer is not obliged to count the pot if you ask? Also I assume that you are not allowed to handle the chips in the pot yourself to count them?

Cheers.

Re: 6 players enough for a tourney? (Quick response needed please)

My home game is always 5/6 players. We normally have 3 tournies. Starting chips are 1500, blinds 25/25, 25/50, 50/100, 100/200, 200/400, etc, doubling each level. Levels start at 20 minutes but...

Blinds are 25/50.

2 players (Fred and Bob) see the flop.

Fred checks.
Bob bets 150.
Fred wants to raise the minimum. Can he raise to 250 (another 100) because Bob's bet was 100 more...

Cheers.

Re: Defending against resteals when probably -EV

The one thing I'd do differently in this spot is NOT explain to the table how you had odds and it was the correct play. (1) I'd be happy that they thought I didn't know what I was doing, and (2) I...

Re: Most efficient way to withdraw from PP to the UK?

Well I'm not too happy as I just got a cheque from Neteller but the exchange rate seemed to be real bad. They gave me 1 GBP for ~$1.78, yet the current rates are ~$1.68 I believe.

Re: Do you call an all-in for nearly half your stack on a draw?
