Re: Rake at 3/6

Do you feel you are running not great or do you feel you are outplayed a lot of times?
If it is not the latter then depending on your bankroll you can take a shot at 5/10.
I play mainly at Prima...

Re: decent turn raise

What limit is this?
You can bet the flop but checking is not bad as well
I like the turn raise

Re: 3-6 heads up. Who bets on the turn here?

[ QUOTE ]
With the pot offering 3-1, you should definitely bet. The chances are good that BB called with two overcards and will release, or that he has some sort of straight draw. Obviously, fold to...

2 HU hands - Prima 5/10

2 handed at 6-max table against LAG player preflop but not any good post.

Hand 1

SB raises - I 3-bet As9s (BB has the button). Caps (he never capped before but he might be tilting as well)

You're very likely behind once he raises. There's no reason to keep raising when you're likely behind.

Re: Turn

3 betting the turn is silly.

A 1-diamond hand is not folding to the 3-bet.

Re: Turn

Against most 1 diamond hands.
This play loses 0.2BB on the river (assuming he makes a flush 20%).
Betting the turn makes 0.8 BB.

Re: Turn

What do you do if he takes a free card on the turn and a diamond falls on the river? check-fold?

Re: Turn

Again better reads would help. Checking is too risky. As the pot is small he will more likely take the free card and fold the river UI rather than semibluff esp. with the ace there.

Re: I screwed this one up.. BB Defense with 88

88 is a great hand HU but you need to put your money early. So 3-bet this. It's unlikely (impossible?) to make him fold any overs, A-hi etc with a C-R but it's more likely to get 3-bet with these...

Re: Turn

I would 3-bet this with a better read. His stats show he's overagro postflop so he might be raising a lot of hands here like a flush draw or a worst ace. Stat "reads" are not good enough, so calling...

Re: KK hand

That's a very interesting line.

I went with Alobar's line and check-folded the turn (it was 6d). My thought was that after I raise UTG he cant 3-bet light at all as all my UTG raises have been...

Re: Certainly there\'s a better line

These players seem to be very common at 5/10 and you can lose a lot if you don't go to SD against them with anything decent.
He can bet the turn with A-high, pair of 2s enough times to make a...

Re: KQs river raise??

I think this is a good value river raise. You need to be 55% ahead. He can easily have Qxs or Kxs or 2 pair a lot of times.

Re: KK against PF reraiser A on board

I think HEFAP recommends bet-fold as a general line but it might be for QQ or worse (?). I think here the pot is rather large that the opponent might take a shot sometimes with QQ/JJ or a flush draw...
